I finally picked my car up from C&C Collision yesterday after driving around with a pos rental car for a week. But before i brought it in I picked up a CF diffuser to have them install while it was there



they said this was a pita to install. I thought it would be, before bringing it in, when i put it up to the car, it looked like it wouldn't fit. But luckily the final outcome is pretty good. Its only held on by glue, some industrial strength stuff that they use.

I really like the look, but i think i have to do quad tips now, to fill up the space...

So i get these back from acgsd since they have a lifetime warranty. Got them back before christmas. I went over to Status to get them put in and when they had all the wiring back in place, we opened up the bulbs and they were the wrong ones.. they sent me back H7 instead of the 9006 i sent them. WTF!!!! after calling them to find out what was up, cuz i hadnt heard from them and telling them it was my foglight bulbs this sh*t?? what a waste of my frickin time... luckily i had an extra set of 9006's in my trunk. the only thing is they are only 35w while my ballasts are 55w.. Now i have to by some 55w and have them reinstalled... did i say what a waste of time!

Thanks! i wasnt sure about it at first either, took me awhile to pull the trigger. But definitely glad i got it...

the bulbs will be fine. All the chinese bulbs are actually 35watt bulbs they just stick them in with the 55watt ballasts. The only true 55watt hid bulb is the Philips DL50. But those are insanely expensive for bulbs and somewhat rare.

Thanks Karo. Yes this is the ebay one. Ive been waiting for a long time to buy one from someone who makes them here, but i really don't see that happening at all anymore. Quality, is better than i thought it would be...

i was driving home from work tonight, when i was on the 710 south just north of the 105 fwy. when i hit a big bump. They are doing construction around there, its basically a bump made from old concrete and new asphalt that wasnt flattened or something. Its a pretty new bump cuz i know this fwy very well, i know what lanes to drive in and where not to. Anyway i hit the bump pretty hard, i actually thought my wheel would have bent. But everything seemed to be fine... when i exited i heard a rubbing noise...





I dont know how, but a piece of my inner wheel well lining was ripped and torn to shreds. Now there is a big hole right in front of my tire. The piece that covers the bottom was hanging on, my tire was rubbing it as i drove. I had to screw that back in.

It shredded the inside of my tire, not bad, but enough..

In my culture we have this Evil Eye thing. Maybe a lot of people are envious of your car. You should get the Evil Eye charm. Do you guys have stuff like that in your culture? Stuff to bring good luck and to fight off bad luck? (superstition)

P.S. Usually someone has to give it to you, you can't buy it yourself. When someone buys a new car it is given as a gift to keep the evil spirits off. I'll get one for you if you want one.

wheel trouble, I hate it... Good luck with that. The ebay diffuser looks great on your car, I don't think you really need to go with the quads, the duals look great with the diffuser!

no worries, at least it was something easily fixable..

my culture has a lot of superstitions, but ive never heard of this one... i try not to buy into all that stuff either... its cool, no need to worry about it, i doubt people are envious of my car... thanks though... Ill definitely have to try this evil eye thing on some people though..

Thanks! thats funny ive been thinking about what to do with my tips, ive been quad tip hunting and i just couldnt figure it out, finally the last couple days, ive been looking at it and thinking about keeping it dual. i just have to straighten the tips up a little bit and center them. im pretty sure thats what im gonna do.... thanks!

i dont have a link right now, but just search for 'w203 diffuser' and you should get a few of them... i purchased from a seller called gofashionshoppe or something like that. I haven't seen him list this in a couple weeks, but there are a few others...
