Those look pretty good. Hope they're worth the price.

Definitely not to me, but as you may have noticed my mods/upgrades/changes have all been very price conscious. I will spend money on the things that I really want, but if it's only a matter of differentiating my car from others, then I'd rather have under $30 invested in my taillights (even after a re-do for the smoking) than over $300 for LED's that might go out. To each his own.

That's what discourages me into pursuing them.

Wait, those are for the 220 S-class though aren't they?

Yes, this auction is for the w220 s-class, but the black stripe lights above were for the w203. I'll keep an eye out and if they are listed again, I'll attach it.

hey you two with the coupes! yeah, you. I hated your rides before. Advans, the truth is I'm just jealous of your rims. (by the way did you have them powder coated or is that stock? brand?) Just didn't like it much, but then after seeing the back end with the tints, it's looking pretty sweet. Loving it now. Guess I shouldn't have pre judged. Looks good though. Congrats.

Just got my S-Class taillights back from being tinted. jonstintedtails.com
I first tried the spray tint and it looked horrible. It ended up being about $120 just to tint them but they look great. I will post pics later.

Did you apply a clear coat after you tinted them? If you didnt, thats why it looked bad.

I am getting my new set of S-class tails in today. I might do a DIY using the spray tint.

Not a problem Mike.

I sprayed clear coat, but there were a couple drips and I couldn't get them as shiny as I wanted. I'm not very handy though. I used VHT Nite Shades Spray Tint by the way. Guess it is good stuff I just didn't know how to do it right.

Quick question about the film...How hard/easy is it to mold the film to the shape of the lens? Most cars have a flat surface whereas ours is indented so i was just wondering if anyone had any issues trying to fit the film in the grooves thanks.
