Well, ya but you still need to apply it & trim it, when I ordered the film for my headlight they said it comes "Pre-Cut" which it did, but it was very basic, I still needed to trim about 2 inches from the total circumferance of the headlights once applied, I don't know how the tailights would work as I just bought a big sheet from them & cut it myself, it actually works better this way, it gives you more flexability when you trim it yourself.

I think the smoke film from stickercity is great...I've been using it and no problem, smoke paint (is good) but it doesnt give u the option of "removing it"
one thing is...stickercity's smoke film is quite thick, if u have alota curves and indents, it might be a pain in the rear bumper.

"Smoke" is more of a likeness to a style, i.e. smoked lenses (dark tint), smoked windows, ect. - the product used is different for each application of the smoked style, window tint is pretty thin, kind of like cellophane, the film used to smoke tailight lenses & the like is quite thick, I believe 12-14 mil is common, this is how I understand it, anyone elso wanna chime in?

I believe it is different too. Tint film doesn't flex as good. Smoke film is more vinyl like and more flexible, so you can heat it and stretch it and form it. While tint is thinner and can crease easily.

since it's outside tint (atleast thats what it looks like to me) do you just re-tint it when it gets scratched? or is it hard to get scratched by maybe rock chips or something.?

A quick side note while we're on this topic: is tinting the brake lights illegal, like using white clear bulbs for turn markers and the like? I only ask because I was in LA last week and on no less than three occasions I almost hit people who had tinted their lights so dark that, in bright sunlight, it's almost impossible to see. At night, it's no problem, but during the day, you have to concentrate hard to see it.
In any event, it seems like you're just asking for a rear-end accident this way. Don't get me wrong; I think it looks great. But I think I'm a decent driver with good vision, and if I can't see it and stop sufficiently, what about the guy who's smoking, talking on the cellphone, and watching the passing Ferraris?

the tints dont scratch easily, I have a set of clear ones protecting the fogs, I replaced my fogs twice (because of stone chips and cracks) after i clear tinted the fogs, its good. just retint ur tails/headlight/sidemarker/ w/e lights whenever u feel like.
SPRAY CAN, i do not like. I sprayed my 98 stock maxima tail lights, they were glossy at first, but less than 1/2 year later it got dull. and i ended up buying a brand new set of tail lights. I'd use tail film only if i were you

check stickercity.com ask for andy, ask him if he can send it out of the US. otherwise, they sell tints online on ebay.com or maybe ebay at norway or ebay.de
