Actual weighting

Anybody here went on an actual auto scale to weigh their car? If so, what are the numbers?

3,405 is the unladen weight of an 06 C230. I think that's a manual and it's 3,450 for a 7G. Just a point of reference.

I'm not sure that unladen weight includes fluids. I've heard it referred to as "dry" weight, possibly meaning no fluids at all. I'm not positive, though. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I think the more important question is... What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

A commercial scale near the 405 & 110 interchange registered 3835 portly C32 pounds with half a tank of fuel, its full-sized spare/sundry tools/consumable liquids - and me aboard.

Should be at least twenty pounds lighter.

white and whiter
industry standard unladen weight means the car is operational with 5 gallon of gas. usually they use base model with no options.

curb weight is usually with standard features of the car with no options and full tank of gas. C32's curb weight with no spare is around 3540, so we can figure john put in the spare tire that weight about 35-40lbs minus the half tank of gas I'd say a good 15-20lbs? that gives us john's weight around 220lbs? lol

I weighed the C32 a couple weeks ago with only the drivers seat and me in it. Basically gutted. Weight was 3461.

Ok, thanks for your responses, basically where i was getting is, i removed some unnecessary items from my car, and swap some other items in for lighter units, and i will be going to a scale very soon to see how much does the car weights. So far, i noticed that my car seems to be handling a bit better and it doesnt sway in corners as much as when i got it stock

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
I got bored one night on the highway and pulled into a closed truck scale for fun. They conveniently leave the scale display on.

This is a 2003 W203 coupe with no passengers, and a few kg of stuff in the trunk. I didn't look at the fuel gauge.

830kg - front axle
690kg - rear axle

So that's 1520kg curb weight, with a 54.6/45.4 F/R weight distribution.
