You can put a T-Tail off an MD-88 on the back of your C230 if you wish, but don't expect to post here about how it improves the car in some way and for all of us to nod our heads in agreement. If you're happy with the car no one really cares what you do to it, but we're entitled to our opinions and if you don't want to hear them.. well it's quite simple. DON'T POST! If you're going to put stuff out there in the public realm, you're going to have to expect some feedback that won't be good. You don't make the rules. You don't post stupid ***** and then tell us what we can and cannot say in response.
This little outburst post I've quoted here reminds me of a pre-teen temper tantrum. You've been a troll since your first post comparing a 200hp 3400lb C230 to a 333hp M3 or a 2500lb Mini Cooper. You bought the wrong car. And if you think Glyn is an ignorant douchebag, you joined the wrong forum.

I will add to that. Respect the elders. By elders I mean the wiser ones. Glyn is 1,000,000 times wiser than you braa. I'm not trying to stroke Glyn or anything. I have been a member here for almost 6 months and I have seen how much info Glyn has passed down.
Since I am in a "wiser/elder" mood. I want to take the opportunity to apologize to FrankW. Way back I felt bad for a members and butt in and Frank told me to shut up ("none of your business") and I kind of said some stuff (not insulting but still). So I want to take this time to apologize to him. FrankW is really wise and has helped me out a lot. What I should have done? Said "You are right sorry". What you should do "Glyn, you are right I am sorry".

I personally feel anywhere from -5hp to +2hp if that
the fan used for dyno simply does not equal to the air that's being sucked into the intake at 45+ mph.
The real factor is the higher flow FILTER that's on the front of the tube.
I'll bet on the move this intake does nothing at all except making people think it makes power.

i wanted to update this for negroC230
He had dropped by a few weeks ago, and I have heard+seen his intake. It's legit. it's loud, and is useful, the car seems very quick, for a V6 C230.
one suggestion is that, I'd suggest him using a larger cone filter, that cone filter is quite small.
