Help needed, lost power/accelaration 2.0 kompressor

hey guys,
drove my car today all of sudden has lost power/accelaration/trq, seems like the kompressor is not coming on boost,
when i step on the throttle the transmission doesnt really kick down like it used too and it doesnt seem to pickup speed at all. car feels like its NA

i have no check engine light or anything feels like the car is in limp mode or something, i have tried the throttle reset but nothing really changed.

i have a 2001 m111 2.0 kompressor.
would this have anything to do with speed sensor? they were the last codes when my mech cleared last time it was in?

ive used the search but cant really diagnose the problem,
any info would be great dont really want to take it to the dealer yet bit low on funds atm
im seriously thinkn of trading my car in feels like one prob after another

thanks in advance

dude your car has a kompressor on it. its a supercharger. you need an intercooler. its below your supercharger. you need an intercooler pump to pump coolant through the coolant circuit and it sounds as if it has gone out. what you described is EXTREMELY common on the supercharged MBs such as the C32, E55, SL55, etc.....

hmm.....well the c32/e55 intercoolers are air to water. is the intercooler on your car air to air?

and is the lag unusual? in my searching, i found that your car has TREMENDOUS lag regularly.

C230s have air-to-air intercoolers . . . . no pump. Sorry.

yeh they do have air to air,

and yes i know they have lag usually, but in this case it was a lot worse than nrmal,

anyway its all back to normal now, so i dont know what could have been wrong.

Your car went into limp home mode. This might be an isolated incident due the ECU brain fade. Keep a cheap OBDII scanner in your glove box and watch codes generated for a while.

Was your oil level low? Limp home mode is intended to protect your car.

no my oil level was fine, just had the oil changed a week ago. i think its just the sensor that is bad,

drove my car again today was back in limp mode, how do you check the ecu? or how do you reset the ecu?

The ECU reboots every time you start the car. I doubt it is the ECU as long as oil has not got into it from leaking cam sensors. Please get your hands on a OBDII scanner & pull all codes - plug is under ther steering column inside the car under a little rectangular flap. Stops a lot of guessing

Update your profile - where are you?

i think i have worked out the problem, seems to be the speedtronic sensor,

car runs in limp mode when the speed limiter doesnt work,
when the limiter does work, the car drives fine and back to normal,
