Those W204 owners are quite the delusional bunch.

But it had the quad exhaust. The driver cut into my lane to avoid a car in his lane, driving at a high speed, then quickly merged back. The whole event took about a second so I could not get a good look of the whole car. It was not like your typical straight race, they had to pass a few cars.

I'm not doubting you. The infamous 530 on the freeway against my friends CL600 (BiTurbo) we were going and he was in our ***. I was driving and I let it all out. We literally lost the 530. Then as traffic comes along they reach us and they pass us. They put on their emergency blinkers (thinking they had beaten us) looool

I was poking fun at Honda owners and their VTEC worship.Still.. ridiculous idea for you to even suggest a C350 had any chance against an M5 in an actual race. If you don't know what the car is, maybe you shouldn't make assumptions (i.e. state that it was an M5 first and now say well you didn't really get a good look at it)? Did you happen to see any pigs flying around?
No one was insulting you. Maybe you should familiarize yourself with the board and its members and our collective sense of humor.

335i is dynoed at 280 to the wheels while the C350 benefit of the doubt is 230. That's 50 more hp to the wheels!!!! That is no joke!!!

I know what a M5 is; it's just that when their little race ended the C350 (as in the newest ones) was in front of the M5. This is why I assumed the C350 was quick. When Karo asked if it was a 530 that looked like a M5, I did see the M logo when it passed me. But I thought that maybe it could have been a hardcore poser (logo, quad exhaust setup) since I was only able to glimpse at the rear when it whizzed by. If it was a M5, how did the C350 manage to get in front of it? Karo's idea might be right, maybe a car merged into the M5's lane upon the race?
Then I apologize for lashing out. It is difficult to figure which tone the comment was write in. When I read it I looked at it from two ways: a) messing around or b) trying to start an argument. I know the members joke around; I've seen it in other posts, but I have also seen some attacks on other people. I took it as B because I did not see any indication that it was a joke. If you had put some sort of smilie face or hahah at the end of "Maybe the C350 had VTAKKKK? Once it kicked in yo, it was all over and dat C350 done smoked dat M5?" I would have looked at it differently.

Oh yes.. the N54 twin-turbo is a force to be reckoned with. The car I replaced was a 330hp G37 and the 135i certainly feels significantly powerful than that POS. Better be driving an AMG W203 or W204 if you're gonna be messing with a 135 or 335.

I'll keep it and the gavel out. The spoon to stir it when it needs stirred, the gavel to hit people on the head with when they say ridiculous stuff like the C350 can walk a M5... or even a 335i.
