Interior color code?!

Interior color code?!
Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out what the hell color my interior is. I can't find the color code or name anywhere including the original window sticker. Is the color code listed somewhere on the car?

the option code of your interior IS on your window sticker. the code reflects the combination of the dash board and seats of your interior.
for US spec you don't really have much to choose from anyway, so you either have JAVA, Charcoal, or ASH. as I believe they took out Oyster for 2005+.

If you can't work it out - Check VIN number with a dealer or MBUSA or ask Cintoman - he is building a VIN number data base & can tell you from the VIN I think. MB certainly can.

So my interior is "ash" but apparently that's not the actual color name??
I'm trying to buy new interior door pulls and the color choices are:
Anthracite
Bracket
Java
Orion gray
Pacific blue
Quartz
Rivet
EDIT: my mistake - the window sticker does say "118 ash leather inserts" - but I can't figure out what color code 118 corresponds to because the color codes for the door handles are 4 digits. Could this be any more ridiculous?

To make matters worse the US does not stick to the international colour names for paint or interior - They use the same codes but change some of the names!

Let's just say that the door handle currently sitting on my desk makes a great paperweight.

All I know is that my light grey leather is Alpaca Grey. I saw some pics of your car at one time & thought it was the same.

if you check the european link I posted above you can see the oriongrau/orion grey is darker than the quarz/quartz which the quartz has a creme-ish tone to the grey instead of being full on grey.

What color is my interrior?
I struggle with this too, all I know is I have a gray interior. When I look up the VIN I get "Palm Gray" and on the option details I see
148A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO - GRAY
I am looking to upgrade to a wood steering wheel and I want to match the interior. So I also see this for the wood grain option.
732 WOOD VERSION,BIRD'S EYE MAPLE BLACK/ANTHRACITE
I have yet to find anybody that states any of these combinations and I dont trust pictures. Last thing I want is a mismatched wheel for $500-$800
