BiX ballasts and igniters

BiX ballasts and igniters
I have been searching for hours but aside from MBenzNL (can't find parts on his site) I can't find recommendations on where to get ballasts and/or igniters for my 2003 C240. Any help or suggestions?

When i needed parts for a friends car i got a ballast and igniter from ebay. i paid 89.99 for both. the ballast from some mini coopers and bmws are thee same as our w203. i am actually running the ballast from the mini on my car and he is running my old Mercedes ballast on his. he was having a problem with the new ballast but it turned out he was an idiot and it was a connection problem.

that is what our ballasts look like. as far as i know they are all pretty much the same. the igniters look the same but the mounting points are different on all of them so it would be a little harder to use a non Mercedes one.

here is an interesting set notice the igniter looks like the new one in the pdf sort of. when i thought i had a bad igniter i was going to buy one of these on ebay and see if i could make it work. it would be much cheaper than the Mercedes one if i succeeded. maybe someone with more knowledge would know if the would actually be possible. because if you look at the pdf the ignier is almost impossible to get to. you either have to remove the lens and replace it that way or cut the wires and do the kit from the back. my idea was to cut the wires and retrofit the new ebay/mini igniter into the light from the back.

I have no clue have you tried the normal mb parts websties. if you want when i get home to my desktop i will pull up the list of the good mb parts places. i remember when i was serching that the repair kit was like 200 so i came up with my crazy idea lol. i will be home around 8 or so tonight so i will try and post around then.
