That right there is awesome, If it weren't for the feeling I'm driving a mini Chrysler 300 series with its crappy plastic interior and overall cheap feeling of the interior, Id buy a new W204 just to have this feature.

While the W203 is more attractive outside, I really like the W204, too. I think it's been determined that Chrysler used Benz parts, not the other way around. The 204 still feels ALL Benz to me. Very nice.

That's really cool, but a little weird too. Plus, I don't have an iPhone, so yeah.

If you have tele-aid, you will eventually be able to have this. As tele-aid is being shut down, Mbrace will take over. You need to go to the dealer and get some hardware installed. My dad just had it done on his '05 E500, but he doesnt have an iphone!

it works with blackberrys too supposedly. now if it only worked with a decent phone (WM) i am actually going to get mbrace when it becomes avalible in novemer. that is when i was told my w203 could actually sign up for it so there is no point in doing tele-aid now.

The Pre has a slider keyboard. Because of less that perfect design, the two halves of the phone tend to twist like an oreo. I haven't named my phone or touch, but my MacBook Pro's name is Christine, like the novel. When I first got it, my gf complained that I was only focused it, and ignored her.

It works if you have a Blackberry phone as well.

The latest is Mercedes-Benz, which announced a new telematics platform Monday that beefs up its navigation system with traffic and weather information and lets drivers lock or unlock their cars using an iPhone or BlackBerry.
Dubbed mbrace, the new Mercedes system is based on services from Hughes Telematics, which will handle online communications through its servers. Replacing Mercedes’s 10-year-old Tele Aid system, the basic mbrace package will be standard on most models, with built-in GPS capability and two-way data communications over Verizon’s network. Included in the standard system are safety features like automatic collision notification and emergency calling for those involved in serious accidents. Several convenience features are also available, like planning a route using Google Maps and having it sent directly to the car.
$280 a year for the basic service; the “mbrace plus” package adds a human concierge who can make restaurant reservations and tell you about the traffic ahead and offer an alternate route. The extra coddling costs an additional $20 a month.
