P0142 O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3
Where is this sensor? I think I can see 1 and 2 .. but 3?

This is an '02 C230K with the 2.3L ...

Bank 1 in OBD2 talk means the side with cylinder 1. Position 3 seems odd, so I am not sure. But typically the upstream O2 sensors give you issues and not the downstream.

P0412 - Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve A Circuit Malfunction. Sorry can't help on that one, hopefully Glyn will chime in again.

See diags - Secondary Air pump & Air injection line & shut off valve 300

You need to troubleshoot this entire arrangement including, air pump, relay & fuse & shut off valve 300 in diagram.
