So an update for everyone. Just below 167K miles and car is doing great. My BAS error has come up twice since I changed the sensor but has not returned in awhile so I hope I am out of the woods on that one. I just ordered my winter tires for my old 16 inch rims they should be here next week decided to go with performance winter tires so I went with the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D's. Hope they will help me get around easily this winter. Lets see what else I am deciding on how much of a repaint I want to do on the car. I have two pencil size spots on the doors that have surface rust and then a hood full of chips. So I might get it all fixed or just ignore it for awhile. I also have to get my new fuel door painted I have had it for like two months but have not had time to go by a shop to get it painted. I also need to get new clear fog lights since one of them is currently cracked and water got in it the other day and killed the bulb. All of my issues are cosmetic though so I am happy. I also need to change the engine and transmission oil before it gets too cold so that is on my list. Here is a pic of my car from last weekend.



I went to my local Mercedes/ Smart / Aston Martian dealership the other day and found a beautiful c250. Sadly it was blocked in and did not have upgraded lights. I wanted to take it for a drive but felt it mean to make them move like 5 cars and then have no intention of actually buying it but I will have to take one out one day. Here are some pics of the sticker and the dealership I lost the pictures of the car.

Dam it i mention the bas error and it comes half way to the pizza place. did not come on while driving home. WTF

Actually speaking of tires, next week I'm actually gonna have the Conti Extreme Contacts installed. Just in time for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. Maybe ill order some 18" for Spring. But nice to see your car is doing well Trey.

Yeah the new C coupe is awesome I would want the c63 but if it was a fully loaded c250 like Phils.

What are the other possibilities for the BAS problem? I expected the sensor to fix that issue. If it were a wheel speed sensor or something of that sort it looks like it would cause ABS and ESP errors as well.

BTW - my old rims just make your car look 1000x better.

It could be a bad replacement sensor, a sensor on the brake booster or the brake booster. I guess it could also be a computer issue. I fear it may be the booster but think i will replace the cheap sensor again with a genuine Mercedes one and then if the issue comes back take it to a dealer or shop with star and have them tell me whats bad. I figure it will tell them whats wrong. or it may be a good excuse to get a star for myself.

the BAS error is probably the sensor for the brake pedal.

lol don't think that is a good investment at this point for my hard earned money. I need to save it to blow in Vegas with Matt in January.

I hope it is the brake pedal sensor but as I said I just replaced it with one off rmeuropean.

Oh god what did I get myself into

On a better note I have ordered the star multiplexer and as we speak am getting my IBM ready for star duty. Installed another HDD into the ultra bay slot for xp pro and then left the original HDD in it with win 7 ultimate. So once the multiplexer shows up and my pcmcia to serial adapter shows up i will be good to go. Also i forgot how much i love my t43p Ibm. It has a Intel Pentium M 2.26 GHZ, with 2gb ram (maxed out) as well as a ati v3200 fire gl video card and a dvd burner. All in a light weight nicely built case with a 14 inch screen and my favorite mouse ever an ibm track point. I might have to buy a new ibm.

I have no clue yet. but it does say it is 2011 version just don't know the month. I assume it will have the fixes and keygens with it. Where did you get yours from? PM me if necessary
