Wow that's awesome.
I was actually watching them install a rear mount turbo on a F150 Lightening on Truckin today and the setup is do-able. Again, it's all about how much one wants to spend and who is doing the work.

I'm not questioning you, this is really an honest question.
Can you do twin on a single pipe? How will that work?
Thanks
Edit
I would love to do twin instead of single

I assume you'd only be able to do it on separate pipes. Each turbo has a return pipe with its own wastegate, filter, and retun boost pipe. Getting that to fit on one side seems like quite a bit of a challenge. On the setups I've seen, the area where the factory muffler sits is usually the best spot to house the rear turbo setup. There's not much room down there...
Here's a photo just for reference...

I'm seriously interested in doing this... I'm thinking a single rear mounted turbo makes more sense in our vehicles. There just isn't much room down there, you could remove the spare, and free up some space, but that doesn't seem very smart to me.

No updates yet but I have really gave it a thought to turbo charge my car again lol
I had the core parts but then needed the money so sold it to a member from a different forum. I may soon start buying parts again for this.
My tip would be to go with a piggyback. That way you wont limit yourself to just a handful of tuners and the piggyback can fool the ecu as well.

I really want to. I might just save up for parts and do it. Havoc wants to buy my VOLKS. I might just put the money into the turbo project.
Have you seen this thread? Max has been MIA for a while but he even turbo charged a CLK430.

Have you thought about doing a front mount? I think if you do it on the passenger side in the engine bay it would be easily doable. 1. Move battery to the trunk. 2. Put coolant tank were the battery was. 3. Might have to move the siren horn I dont know yet for sure. 4. Place the turbo were the coolant tank was. You may possibly may only be able to run 3 cylinders to the turbo however.
Does anyone have a good picture of the engine bay? Also another picture without the airbox and closeup to the passenger side of it..
