I'm having a problem with my right mirror signal. It stopped working for a few days and all of a sudden it started working again. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas on what might be causing this? I'm a little worried cuz my warrenty runs out soon.

My left D/S mirror signal light has been acting up lately. I get the dash display showing check left mirror signal, at which time the signal goes into double-time flashing when used. It has been intermittent... does it for a few turns and then goes back to normal.

I took it to the dealership and they ordered a new part (socket I think). I'll let you know once I get the paperwork on it.

This happened to me. New mirror LEDs fixed it (the mirror light comes as an entire unit). Sometimes the contacts get dirty, sometimes water gets into the unit and causes changes in resistance which set off the computer.

I've had this happen too, although in my case it wasn't the LED unit. The wires leading to the light had become sliced. I guess it was all those years of having the mirrors folding in & out.

I basically removed the mirror cover and spliced the wires back together.

Use the warranty. That's what it is for. I had the same issue and the unit was replaced under warranty at about 35,000 miles. At 72,000 now and the issue has not came back.

Signal lights only have 2 year warranty. He has a 2006 model so no warranty for this.

This is the third time I'm posting this in as many days: "STOP LISTENING TO THE STEALER!!!!" Whoever told you that is FULL of crap.

Obviously BULBS are not covered. Even if you wanted to argue that the LEDs count as bulbs, his problem is completely different - he does not have a burnt out LED / bulb.

I am SO freakin' sick of people arbitrarily posting rubbish and parading it as fact. I make sure if I'm not sure of something, I make it known. I see posting incorrect info with confidence as extremely bad for this board. There is no shame in not knowing.

Thanks to everyone for helping me out! The only problem now is, that it started working again so I hope they do something about it. I have a feeling this is going to be a struggle. Why don't dealerships understand the value of a repeat customer, it's always a battle with these guys.
