Speed Limiter
I know I'm probably going to get bashed for this but here it is. Instructions on how to disable the speed limiter/governor on the w203.
This is just to show how to do it.
The reason I took it off is to see if I notice any better acceleration speeds or better acceleration although it just a speed limiter but you never know
It's raining today so I haven't tested it yet.
Tools Needed:
SDAS with Developer Mode.
If you have SDAS but not developer mode PM me i'll show you how to get Developer Mode unlocked.

It's Mercedes STAR
I should be, I'll let you know next week.
I hope this limiter crap doesn't restrict the acceleration on a car. I know way back in HS years (you guys know how that is) people use to say the governor slows the acceleration of a car as well. We'll see

Fortunately South African C240's come with no speed limiter so you can cruise at 240 Km/h all day. The limiter will not effect performance.

1999 CLK320 (sold), 2007 C230 SS (gone), 2000 Grand Marquis, 2011 CR-Z, stay tuned...
I'd like to know what my car would top out at, but other than that there's not much need. Good to know, though.

Let me use DAS Sim and see if there is this for the C320. If anything the 320 will have this over any other models

I believe it was in the updated rear SAM unit from 04+ (?) and it uses the ESP sensors to determine if one wheel is spinning faster than the others because its tire pressure is low thus diameter is smaller. When the tire is low, the MFD lights up red with a warning message. Its a passive tire pressure warning (active uses TPS monitor). It gets done through STAR w/ Developer mode.

Seems there is a gentlemen’s agreement in the fatherland to limit our pedestrian versions to 250 Km/h, although Porsche has seen fit to exempt their hardware. Run up against mine on a few (off-highway) occasions. Quite fast enough…felt steady though.
Seen a few de-limited C32/C55 pilots on YouTube knocking mist off the lilys at 300 Km/h.

Capt Nemo, here it is.
I didn't have to go into developer mode (but the feature might have been enabled since I have the developer key) I'm not too sure but here it is. I hope this works

SWEET! Thanks! That's it? Did you try activating it on the car? I kind of got the impression there was more to it than that!

I did but I didn't get any error. I looked at the thread that you posted and looked in the categories that Sunilp mentioned.
P.S. The new STAR has more built in functions. I remember to enable the chirp (with the older star) the only way was just Netherland settings. With the newer STAR (DAS/SDAS) additional to Netherlands there is USA With Buzzer. Because with Netherlands you loose your Panic feature but not with USA with Buzzer. So maybe that's why it seemed easier because they added the menu because it got popular? I turned it on but haven't got anything, It seems like that's the one. I'll wait and see. Worst case scenario i'll let some air out and see what it does. I'll post a pic here of the message I get.
I activated the passive tire pressure monitor in my car. I am not sure it will work until I get a flat though. It works off the ABS sensors in the wheels and checks for differences in rotational forces of each wheel. It's not as good as the active system but it's something. To activate it, I had to activate the ESP module, EIS, and instrument cluster. I am not sure if the old clusters support this feature. I have a 211 cluster in my car at the moment. If your car is produced 2004 and later, your ESP module should support this feature. I had to change my ESP module when I got Distronic so mine supports it now. A new menu pops in instrument cluster as well. I will take pics later and post.

Soon very soon. Just some financial problems now. You know the recent thing that happened? I had to pay some money for the service which I saved up for CC payments. One I pay off CC i'll definitely do the turbo. If I blow the engine I blow it. Will give me an excuse to get better internal parts
