One trick you can do, if you can get under the car with it running (safely, of course) is to take a piece of tissue, and hold it around the joints. When it starts to flutter, as if in the wind, you have found your leak. If you are checking near the engine, you may have to unplug the radiator fans to prevent them from interfering.
If it's an audible sound you are chasing primarily, you can narrow it down by taking a piece of 2-3 foot long, 3/4" diameter heater hose (available at any autoparts store) and hold one end to your ear. With the other end, fish it around any suspected areas for the source of the noise. You can usually pinpoint the source rather easily like this.
Im still kind of determined that it has a leak cause im not completely dumb when it comes to cars... maybe im just hard headed haha ..

The M111 is a very strong engine but a little rough which is why they designed the M271 after too many complaints.

But i am located in central Indiana
Make sure you check and confirm that you have a leak.
