Another Evolution of a W-203 Pictures Diy's and Info inside

I Sold my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, and jumped into this Stone Stock 2004.5 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor sport in November of 2009. Its mostly sat in the Garage awaiting the warm weather which has gave me some time to Mess with it.

The Day I drove it off the lot

And my Evo which made 551AWHP and 500AWTQ Big step down power wise with the Benz, But i do enjoy it alot:

I started by Tinting the Windows 15% in the back and 35% on the front.

Then I Decided to jump into some 18x8.5 Mandrus millenium wheels
Before:

After:

I bought a Flat Hood emblem off ebay to replace the tri star.
Before:

After:

I also Blacked out the Factory front grille

Then I decided to De-Badge the rear, add the AMG emblem and A Real Lip Spoiler from JBSPEED.
Before:

After:

I then Added 3000k Hid Foglights, And 10,000k Hid Headlights

Right After Install (springs Are now seated and the car sits a little lower)

I will update this As the modifications come So Subscribe to this thread and stay posted!!

So many mods and looking good!

You need to lower your car a little bit more tho, especially the fronts for equal drop and spacers on the rears for aggresive look.

What's with the AMG badge? I'm fine with that since it's your car, but I'd remove that picture from your thread though before you get bashed

Let the bashing begin Because its My car and that's what I wanted. And My car has the AMG sport package which means its Legit. I dont need to explain myself though I will not tolerate people hating in my thread though thats for sure. (Not you just a statment)

I sold my civic si 4 years ago to get away from this exact BS on the Forums. I guess it still lurks even on MB World

So for those that want to hate on It Keep you comments to yourself. I'am making a good contribution to this forum by Posting DIY's that take hours to do to better the MB community, And I will not take crap from those same people that I'am helping out. no way...

Looks good dude! WHYYY are you posing witht he AMG badge though??

Your always going to crap for it! Sorry dude, but you cant just give up and sell your car! And you pretty much just have to take the crap, we all do at some point for something.
I mean if you really like it, it is your car. But honestly, Its not even like our cars have an "AMG package" like the other models, the C class sports came stock with it.

There's a reason that there's 100:1 ratio of people who think an AMG badge is 100% poser to people who like them.

Other than that though, your car looks really good!! LOVE the Milenniums!!

O, and not to harp on you, but if you are going to keep your poser badge, you should move it down a little and straighten it, that way it at least looks OEM and not like a replica badge that it is lol

lol...no comment on the badge except it's sticked up too high.

and you have a 2005 btw. 2004.5 is the one without the facelift but has the lowered sport suspension and brakes.

Car looks great

I think I have mentioned this before but I really don't mind the AMG badge.

People put Brabus body kits on their car and not touch the engine but rock the Brabus sign.

People put Carlsson body kits on their car and not touch the engine but rock the Carlsson sign.

People put the Lorinser body kits on their car and not touch the engine but rock the Lorinser sign.

So if I put a full Lorinser kit on my car BUT not touch the engine and tranny then I can't put a Lorinser Badge??? If that's the case then 90% of the members here can't put badges.

Same goes with AMG, I mean the guy has almost everything AMG except engine and tranny and some suspension parts. I know it sounds wierd but all you guys who have Brabus, Lorinser and Carlsson body kits technically can't put those badges (i'm not here picking on individuals)

So if he adds a complete AMG package without engine mods it'll be cool to rock the AMG?

Leave the guy alone and let him enjoy his car.

Some of you guys who point fingers trust me you guys have done some poser crap too. No one is innocent here. I've even done poser crap (in someone's eyes - everyone has different taste)

I'm not gonna mention any names but some people bring their daddy's car to meets.

One of my clients that I work for has a SL65 maybe I can ask him to borrow his car and bring it to the next meet.
^ - Falls under poser category.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
I can't tell if it is a 2005 unless I see the VIN or an interior picture of the glovebox door latch. Someone might have changed the front lamps, especially if there was front damage.

I think he can put any thing on the outside of his car he wants. Now me, I took the AMG badge off my car and put it on a belt buckle. All the ladies are impressed with my "AMG."

Just fyi- Im not trying to start an argument, so dont take this the wrong way, and i didn't think you were picking on me individually.

But, the difference is people like my dad pay $40,000+ just for those Lorinser packages or Brabus/ Carlsson. And they actually have them added to the car.

On the 2005+ Sport 203's it comes stock from the factory, he hasnt actually added the AMG package. Thats what i was saying earlier in my post, for us sport w203's its even like we purchased the "AMG Package".

Another thing, those cars that have a full cosmetic package, even with out engine upgrades, are considered a Lorinser, Brabus, or Carlsson models by the kit manufactures.

One more thing, all these kits come with the badges, there is a reason the C230's, 320's, and 350's didnt come with the AMG badge even though they have AMG bodywork.

And finally, on our cars it is AMG designed an inspired but there is no actual AMG engine Mercedes with the same body kit.

And i dont know which member your referring to, but personally have taken my dads Lorinser to many meets, as well as mine, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. The meets are for car enthusiasts and MB lovers to admire and see other members cars, not for each person to prove who personally has a better ride, and many members have actually told/ask/requested that i bring the Lorinser so that they can see it in person!

Here's a couple pics of my old 2003 Evo (338whp/328wtq):

Nice Benz though. And if you like the AMG badge, rock it. Who cares, it's not anyone else's car!

it's funny how people hide their plates on the internet yet millions of other drivers that drives next to them can see them everyday anyway.

Not hardly... not only does he not have anything close to the same engine, tranny, or suspension... he also has none of the interior, brakes, or exhaust.
