I did not want to have to resort to this... but I am hopping by posting this he will finally take me serious and respond to me and/or paypal.
He has been ignoring my emails since April 12th and tomorrow will be 4 weeks that he has had my $750.
Please send me my money back..............

thats very lame, BigBodyBenz is on here pretty often, i've always been concerned using paypal, transferring over the money and then waiting for the shipping information to come though never a pleasant feeling
Best of luck, i hope you get your money back
BigBodyBenz... its people that do stuff like this that give internet sales a bad reputation. If your intentionally doing this your a thief, and i'd rather you have the ***** to hold up a liquor store than to con a fellow MB enthusiast over a set of a coilovers... I hope you've just gone away from your computer and haven't been able to complete the transfer and that this isn't intentional
if it is, burn in hell

finally responded to my one of my emails.....
citing a family issue and leaving the Coilovers with a friend to ship to me...
states that he has not had access to his email in several days.... which i do not believe because all of his prior email replies to me are signatured with, "Sent from my iPhone"
I just want my money back...

I had to go home on emergency leave due to my father being in the hospital and left it in my friends hands to ship them out to him and he said he did already so the coilovers are already on the way to him. I was out of touch with him because of this. I understand it is my responsibility to ship them out but since I was out of state and did not have to time to ship them thats where the delay was. He is going to get his coilovers and a tracking number as soon as I get in contact with my friend. I am not being dishonest to him or anything and I want to work this out as fast as possible.

finally received the CO
Despite saying the CO where shipped several days prior....
The shipping label is marked April 26th.... which was the next day that the USPS was open for business.... And the following day after I posted my buyer beware regarding bigbodybenz.
This whole transaction was a nightmare.
The CO where packaged horribly!!
I just hope that when my car is all taken apart my installers dont come to me and say that the CO are damaged.

Charles,
Sorry to hear about all the problems you had getting them, but good luck with the CO.
As for BigBodyBenz, I can only really say I know him from the boards and for a few hours that we met and talked when he picked up my old OE head unit. He was a great guy and struck me as someone with good character.
I hope this all passes and we move on. Good luck to both parties.

So you would not be upset if you purchased an item from me and it took me a month to ship to you?
How about if I gave you 3 different shipping dates and failed to deliver on any of them and I gave you 3 different reasons as to why not...
1. I fell and hurt my arm
2. Left them for a friend to ship to you
3. My father got sick
How about if our only means of communication is email, and you email me several times asking for updates and I stop replying to your emails?
These are all red flags to me!!
Put yourself in my shoes.
Are you telling me that you would not be concerned?
Only AFTER posting here on April 25th did bigbody reply to an email of mine and told me that his father was sick.
Only AFTER posting here on April 25th did bigbody ship out the CO on the next business day.
Communication was a VERY big problem with this transaction.
It would have only taken him a second to email me to keep me informed. He had my phone number so he could have called or text me but he never took the time to do either. I had to email him EVERY week to check up on the shipping status.
To answer your questions,
-I prioritize family first! But in my defense his father was not sick between, March 29th through at least April 12th. Is 2 weeks an adequate amount of time to ship an item?
-I would have contacted the buyer directly and informed them of my situation.
-If this where ebay I probably would rprobably receive NEGATIVE feedback....
It is unfortunate that bigbodys father is sick and I hope he gets well!!
I am sure bigbody is a great guy but he dropped the ball on this transaction. He is still trying to sell several other items and I hope his other transactions work out more smoothly than ours. I also think I am obligated to let other forum member know how our transaction went so they can be fully informed if they choose to purchase an item from him in the future
On a side note, just because a person contributes a lot of information/post to this forum it does not make them trust worthy. I purchased an item from a very well known individual in the w124 forum, (who is building a wide body benz) and he screwed me out of $125 bucks. Its been over 1 year and he still has my money and the item I purchased from him….. I can stomach loosing $125 verses $750.
Maybe spending $750 and being kept in the dark is all right with some of you???? Or maybe I am just paranoid......
Anyways, Patrick I respect your opinion and everyone else’s regarding this matter!!!!
I am happy that this transaction has finally come to a close!!!!

Damn, that sucks. Always remember once it comes close to a month and you didn't get what you paid for make a claim no matter what. Once I waited 2 weeks and didn't get item. Too lazy to chase down the seller I made a claim. Response was I was sick I will ship out today and I got it here in 3 days.
