4matic Front drive shafts - service or run it till it fails?
I'm wondering if i should dump all that money to service a 7 year old drive shaft or should i just wait till they start to go bad and just buy new shafts (with new boots on em obviously). I can get the new shafts for about 650 each.
What do you think?

I have over 200K on Jeep Grand Cherokee on the original CV shafts with no issues, and I replaced the boots and regreased at ~110K.

service manager said they usually lasted a long time and if the joints are not clicking yet replace the boots before they do as its cheaper then doing the shafts
