Talking cheap w203 tein spring on ebay

So I was searching around on eBay and came across some tein springs for 169 shipped obo so I was being funny and cheap and submitted a best offer of 140. They counter offered with 166 but in the notes they said if I PayPal them directly 149 they'll ship it out to me! So I replied back and made sure if it's true and they said yup! So I got a set for 149 shipped which I think is a good deal. I believe they have 5 sets available. Thought I'd share if anyone is looking for some springs.

Haha yea but was wanting yours since they're cut but ill see how it looks when I get them on. So I have two projects to do this week 1. Vinyl wrap my roof 2. Install my springs. I'm excited, but I still need to do my dual exhaust. Just have my magnaflow and tips sitting in my room.

tein s-tech is not going to lower your car much if any if you already have the 2005-2007 sport sedan.

I hate you guys. Stop making me want to lower my car. I parked next to Roland last week and felt like I should be off roading...

the i have the SS... we'll see how low it goes. I'll do a measurement pre and post install. Tein says after the install it might sag another 5mm which isnt much so I might do an updated photo about a month later after it settles in. I need to roll my rears fenders already since I have the cls500 wheels on. I hate the rubbing going over the bumps on the highway, plus my gf gets annoyed by it. She always says " I think there's something wrong with your tires cause mine doesnt do that." I tell her everytime its cause my wheels are bigger and wider so its gonna rub lol. Think I'll swing by my friends body shop and borrow their fender roller, if not theres always the old school way of using the heat gun and some metal forming hammers

So what's a good drop for us sport guys, then? I've heard that H&R and Koni yellows are a good combo, but I really don't know. I can't afford C/Os anytime soon, so what would you recommend. Sorry for the off-topicness, just figured I'd ask on here. Can't wait to see your installed pics!

I would say go with H&R w/ konis. Keep in mind that when you put the konis on they're gonna drop the car a little more. This would be my route in the future if I dont get my coilovers.

Thank you very much! I figures (for money's sake) that I would start with just the springs and do the shocks later, but idk. I appreciate your confirmation!

You can always get springs now and get the konis later. Your OEM struts are going to wear out quicker when you lower it so you can replace then. Its all on if you want install them then uninstall them again so you can install the konis. Unless you're doing it yourself then it wouldn't be an issue of spending the money to have it done. I always do my own installs and maintenance on my cars so I don't worry about that

I would probably do all the work myself. I have a good friend with a machine shop and plenty of tools, so I will do the work with him. I am hoping to go straight to c/os, though. I am selling the E55 rims that I just had powdercoated, with brand new (0 miles) tires. With the money from that, I hope to be able to get some. If not, springs and konis.

i installed the tein s tech months ago on OEM struts/shocks. Car is non-sport c240.
Drop was amazing. Lowered front by 2.4' and rear by 0.2' (i installed pad #4). Perfect stance and look.

With regards to the ride, its on the soft side. I ordered Sach Sport struts / shocks days ago. Will update you guys how it feels once installed

You should beat Patrick over the head with that double sided rubber thingy w/ two fists that he carrys around in his trunk and steal his setup. Won't even know what hit him.

ok springs are on and i let them settle in for about a week now. Rides a little soft but not bad, dropped my car about 0.6 inches all around, good enough for me to take care of the wheel gap on my car but not to low where i'm rubbing everywhere. Still need to roll my rears, I'll do that next week when I'm off work. Heres a pic of my car, Ill take better ones with my camera this is from my Nexus One.

heres a close up of the front... I have about a finger and half gap. Need to paint my wheels got some paint scrapped off on the lip, thinking of going a lil darker like gunmetal what do yall think?
