Beeping noise from behind speedometer???

Beeping noise from behind speedometer???
Hey guys so was doing some cleaning on my car last night and had accidentally turned off my radio (car running) when i suddenly started hearing this faint beeping sound and I mean faint. As I started poking my head in and around places around my dash I noticed I am quite sure that it is coming from behind the speedometer area...anyone else experience this or possibly can hear this or know wth it is?

does that sound eventually go away? if so, when does that sound go away?
If you leave the key in the ignition after turning of the ignition and you open the dr. side door, do you hear beep-beep?

I heard it for the 1st time today too. Only had the car 2 weeks thus far, so I'm still getting familiar, but I noticed it only when I was moving. Slow speed, low engine and road noise. Very very faint. But definite computer type of tone, with a pattern, then it stops. Wait a minute. Then I hear it again. Could not duplicate once I got in my driveway and just sat in Park and idled. Can't tell where it's coming from.

My car makes a very faint beep when the car shifts gears for the first time every morning but i only hear it once usually always wondered what it was.
I wonder if the beep is one of the stepper motors.

Speaking of noises.. When i have my car on the tape player with the speakers on. It sounds like my car has a supercharger. But im wondering if thats the volume speed control. It sounds cool Its a wine that increases when i hit the gas

I like the actual supercharger whine..
Anyway, I hear this, too.. it appears to be stepper motors in the dash adjusting. Mine has always done it and it is no cause for alarm.
