Speaker Wire Colors

Speaker Wire Colors
I have been searching and reading for quite some time but still have not found the correct info.
I have a 2005 C230 Sports Sedan without the sub in the decklid.
I need to tap the wires with a hi low converter so I can add an amp and subs.
Does anyone have the colors of the speaker wires. I will probably end up tapping the rear door wires and want to make sure I do it right.
I have the converter ready to go, I just can't find the right info.
Thanks

No the wire will not be there if theres no amp... but the wires you are looking for are....
front left speaker (-,+) brn/grn - green
front right speaker (-,+) brn/org - orange
left rear speaker (-,+) brn/pink - pink
right rear speaker (-,+) brn/white - white
FYI.. they are twisted pairs

Did you ever find wires in the trunk to use for the audio feed for the sub? If so, where?
I'm preparing to embark on the same project here, would be good to know what I'm looking for before I tear the trunk apart again (first time was for rear shocks) ...
Thanks. John
