What I would really like to know is how to get my hands on a service manual like a chilton manual or haynes manual that shows photos, illustrations and instructions on how to actually physically wrench on my 2005 C240 4 CYL. 4 Matic??? What do ya think gentlemen?

 

Get a W203 maintenance DVD from Benz USA. The Haynes etc manuals on these cars are pathetic & full of mistakes. Even torque settings are wrong. Or buy a pirate copy of the WIS on eBay.

Hi I have paid for a service DVD from a website but it never arrived. Queried too late to get my $ back from the credit card co.

Problem is the MBUSA people wont ship internationally. So anyone out there successfully received a W203 DVD. And the outfit I got my R129 one from has vanished.
I really need the schematic and other info for when a problem occurs, don't want to blow another pile of dosh on a dodgy website outfit.

PS - the TSB list looks like its a link to the content, but it doesnt go anywhere?

I WOULD HOPE YOU'VE GOTTEN YOUR MANUAL BY NOW. I HV A 2006 C280 4M AND REGULARLY USE THE HAYNES MANUAL I BOUGHT FROM AMAZON FOR ~$19.
TO SUPPLIMENT, I AM STILL CONTEMPLATING THE SERVICE MANUAL DOWNLOAD FROM ALLDATA.

I've been searching for soooo long . . . trying to locate a reputable service manual for under $100 for my 2004 C240 4MATIC. I can find NOTHING that isn't from Romania. The link quoted here doesn't work for me. I've searched many places. Any suggestions please?

Until I can get my hands on a correct service manual can anyone please tell me the correct torque settings for the below? Again, I've searched and find very little that isn't contradicted by someone else later in the thread.
