Nevermind.. That type of duct goes on the underside of the hood. gonna suck it up and buy them I think

ok found the ducts I'm going to get its perfect! they have an extra extension that'll be perfect to drop into my heat shield

You can do either or on these ones... they come with rivet bolts if you want to do it on top or you can do it from underneath... I plan on doing it underneath so it'll look like its OEM

it can be underneath like this with the rivets coming from up top or you can mold the duct from underneath

If your gonna do those ducks. I would find a hood from a junk yard. It doesn't even have to be the same color. If you don't like it or if it doesn't work you could always toss your old one back on. You know

I wish i had the 05 console BULL CRAP

I'm still waiting to see pics of your trunk box... I think it would be a good idea to get a spare hood, just to practice on if nothing else. Of course you have a talented body shop at your disposal, so whatever works! Can't wait to see the finished product.

I'm tempted to get the CF Double Din, but I don't know if it would look good with my Birdseye trim... I did a simple trunk box in mine (the one I got from you took up too much trunk space) I'll post a picture of mine soon.

nice...Here's a pic of a 1965 MB "fintail" my friends shop was repainting last year. forgot I had pics of it. I had 22k miles on the original engine, immaculate interior, and had the factory air ride suspension. I'll try and find more pics.
