Happy New Year EVERYONE!!!
I have a 01 c320 with only 27,000 miles. A week ago i discovered a few drops of unknown fluid on my garage floor. Today i looked under the car and the transmission pan is covered with what appears to be oil. I checked the engine oil plug, but its not leaking.
I think the transmission pan gasket or the o-rings (http://installuniversity.com/mb/w203...on-o-ring.html) are the problem.
1. What do you guys think might be the problem?
2. Where should i take the car to get it fixed? (I live in Chicago)
3. How much will it cost to fix at the dealership?
Thanks
-Dan

clean up the trans pan and the surrounding area and check again few days later. Depending on where the trans fluid is leaking from (pan gasket, drain plug, or the electrical connector), you can order the necessary parts and fix it.
Dealer will probably charge you one hour of labor to identify the source of the leak.

Identify the leak - Buy the parts from RMeuropean or Parts.com. Take it to an Indy for fitting if you don't want to do it yourself.
