W203/CL203/S203 TIRE Discussion Thread - Every question on TIRES
I'm getting old...my biggest thrill this week was a great deal on some great tires. That's sad.

I have the Pirelli Neros and when I do a full throttle launch with the ESP off it doesn't slip as well (w203 350).
19x8.5 and 19x9.5
According to mfg data, the C32's E32 engine produces 332 ft-lbs of torque, while the C350's E35 engine produce 269 ft-lbs of torque. Also, your rear tires are an inch wider than my stock 8.5" width rears.
PS: With Conti ProContact, ProContact 2's, and General UHP (Ugh!) all three would slip on a full throttle launch, even on hot days (Above 90F) with dry asphalt and warmed up tires. Those are my comparisons because those are what I have used in the last 18 months. I could not say that PS2's are the only one that won't slip; I am sure there are other tires (the F1, Potenzas, PZero's) that would probably not slip either. I have a brand new Pirelli PZero in my trunk which is probably the original spare, because I believe that's what my car with from the factory (I bought it used 18 months ago with ProContact 2's).
I'm just so happy with the way it rides now with PS2's all around, it really is a joy to drive.

I think the F1 Asymmetric's (which are a Michelin copy) are a darn good cheaper option. I will personally only run Michelin.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

1) I have the 17 inch standard Sport wheels with tires on, these are Michelin Primacy tires, fronts are in GOOD condition, rear are worn and need to be replaced. I want to sell them once I have new wheels and tires put on. One wheel has two scratches (touched up), another has road rash (also touched up), the other two wheels are like new. How much can I reasonably expect to get out them if I was to sell them as is?
2) Any one has experience with www.mercedesbenzwheel.com from Miami FL??
What do you think of these AMG replicas? See link below. They are 18s and run about $1100 plus $112 for shipping.

3) I don't like the tread wear of these factory Michelin Primacy tires but still want a high performance summer set up. Any recommendation of tire model? I like to keep the cost down, so what is a really good choice without dropping all my savings on them??
Thanks!

Good tread rating, great stick, quite and good ride for a good price.
I moved up to 18's on my 230k sedan and saw a big difference when I replaced the Michelin's like you currently have now.
