Those were my two first options!
I saw the Falken ZE-512 and the toyos proxes T1S
but i don't know the pro and cons of each one? the price i little different toyos are around 140 and the falkens 100!

are you looking for performance or longer lasting tires?
I'd say the Yokohama ES100 or Bridgestone RE750. Both of these has better treadwear as well as good performance.
if you are only looking for performance tires and don't care about tread life, then I'd say the PilotSport or P-Zero.

All right! I have a question: some one in this forum have intalled in the c7 tires with this size 235/45/17. How it looks? and if i do that would affect my car in the short or long run? something positive about do that?
THe second one is that i want a performance tires that last longer that my stock tires the continentals. In other words better tires in large life, less noise,and more performance than the stock ones (continentals). conti stock 24000 and counting and I do hard driving 1/3 of the time.
I live in miami so it just rain for 4 months per year.
so i have the following options that i have research
1. Toyos T1s ( i know they handle very good but i do not if they are noise and life.) store close to my house ($125)
2. Falken looks good but i haven't read nothing in this forum about them in this forum. THere three models that fit Azenis, grb, ziex. (from 90 to 110)
3. Bridgestone Potenza s-03 A little expensive for me almost 170 per tire with installation. no sure if them are worth. (160)

I replaced my Sports with Conti Extreme Contact, and love them. I travel into winter weather occasionally, so the Sports were way out of their league. The Sport is a great warm weather, dry surface tire.
I would stay away from Falken's. They have a serious issue with out of round tires, and it is very difficult to balance them out to not get a vibration. My local tire distributor stopped carrying them for this reason. They had about a 75% return rate.

Just bought a set of F1-GS-D3 - love them so far - 245/40/17 rear and 225/45/17 front. VERY quiet and good dry traction. But they were expensive!! Also heard that they are pretty soft so not sure how long they will last...

Those Goodyears are supposed to be good but they are pricy. I got the Pirrelli P-Zero Nero and returned them after a week. They tramline (follow the contours and ridges of the road) really bad, the car shakes from side to side on grooved freeways. I then replaced them with Bridgestone Potenza RE750's, good all around tire, quite, handles reasonably well and doesn't tramline.

The Falken Azenis Sports are very popular with autocrossers in the street tire classes. They are very, very sticky in the dry, and surprisingly good in the wet when new. When half worn, they are useless in the wet. For such a sticky tire, they wear quite well.
The drawbacks are the stiff sidewalls make for a rather harsh ride and the tread pattern makes them very noisy. They will hydroplane badly in puddles new or worn.

Your really putting a bad word out there for the Neros.
I must say like i have said before, i love everything about the tires and have not have ANY tramline issuses at all. I am liking these tires much better then my Pilot Sports on my CLK430 and what used to be on my C230.

How do you ship tires out of town?
I need to ship some tires to california from NJ and i was wondering how to ship without costing an arm and a leg.
Any thoughts?
P.S. Current UPS estimates are about 160 for a set of 4 tires.

Shipping rates can vary, I found Fedex Ground to be the least expensive of the large carriers. Also, I know UPS will let you ship bare tires (not with wheels I assume) with just a shipping sticker on them, that will save you boxing up costs. Also ship them seperately, not as one bundle.

Buellwinkle's right. Ship via Fed-Ex ground, but in plastic wrapped in pairs, not separately. UPS may be cheaper, but Fed-Ex requires a signature at the end point, and won't just drop them at the front door.
Also, ship them to a business address, not home for the best price; regardless of who you'll use. Of course USPS is out of the question, because usually they'll make you go to the p.o. to pick them up!

I have gotten dozens of tires fron TireRack, and just got some from a private seller in Minnesota. They came either UPS or FedEx. All are shipped two with plastic wrapping.

Tire Problem - What would you do?
I was on a business trip 300 miles from home on a Friday afternoon and after the last call saw a nail sticking out of Left rear tire. Amost in the sidewall - and I knew that couldnt be fixed. Talk about pissed. Found a tire dealer - he didnt carry the Conti Sport Contact. He sent me to another dealer - they didnt have it either. he checked everywhere - nope.
I hd 8000 miles on the Sports and from the posts here people were getting 12 - 15K out of them. They had Conti Extreme Contact but I didnt think it was good idea to mix on one axle so was going to get two. Dealer offered me a discount on all four and I figured in 5Kmiles I would be back in the tire store anyway for 2 more so ended up just replacing the sports. I was lucky last year on the weather and was planning on going to some with better traction on wet and snow.
The extreme s seemed to handle fine and I think they may be a little noisier but what do others think about the differences in the two types. I really liked the way the conti sports handled.

The Conti Extreme Contracts are very good tires. They are in the same category as Pilot Sport A/S and P-Zero Nero A/S tires. However, they are ultra high performance all-season tires vs. the summer tires you are replacing. They will more than likely be slightly less responsive and grippy than the summer tires you are replacing. They should also be quieter and better riding though.
I have driven the Extremes on an RSX type S and my son's friend uses them on his Mustang GT. They are well liked. They do well when driven aggressively and in light snow and ice experience in my area. If you want to read independent reviews, check out www.tirerack.com.
If you are a mild driver, you should be ok mixing the tires for a short while.
If you are a more aggressive driver, I would not mix these tires. They will have different slip points and angles that will upset the balance of the car. Also, due to the diameter difference of the worn and new tires, you could invoke the stability control much sooner.

I have the conti extremes right now, and they are an OK tire. I think I have posted numerous times how I've had annoying flat spots, and this is not uncommon with these tires. Stick to Michelin, they are a much better Tire Company than Continental...you get what you pay for
