hey that's pretty good how you took that "after" shot... it's pretty much right on the same angle and distance from the "before" shot...
Looks like the shop removed that awful smudge from the front license plate as well.
Congrats on the "new" car.

Is that work done by an MB dealer? Paint looks really good. Let me know.
when i called my dealership to get a recommended body shop, this is where they sent me. when i asked if they had any other recommendations, they said "no, i wouldn't let anyone else touch a mercedes in this state".
nope, not a dealer. they're a body shop in peoria IL called Benishek and Duffy. They're very very good. They work on Porsches, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguars, etc. i've been told by many people they're the best auto body shop in illinois south of chicago if not in the whole state. they have customers who drive porsches, mercedes, etc. who live in florida, california, all over who insist on sending their cars back to this place in good 'ol peoria IL for any work they need done. and as you can see by the picture they know what they're doing. i can assure you, the car looks factory fresh even up close.

It does look great. Black is SO hard to re-paint and match.
it may be even harder to match than black since it seems to change color (black to blue to purple) when viewed from different angles in different types of light. but my auto body shop did a great job of it.
my car isn't black (i think that's what you meant). it's capri blue. a very dark, very beautiful blue.
