CF driveshaft

Hi,
I'm looking for the driveshaft line schemas for the MB C350 sport 7G-tronics W203. I will made by a manufacture here a custom CF driveshaft. I would like to now if someone have done this before and if is possible to remove the central pin in the transmission or is just an extension of the gears box ????

Thanks

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Why?

it won't serve any purpose. The stock shaft will handle all the power you can toss at it. even if you doubles the output
You would blow the transmission up well before you hurt the driveshaft on that model.

I transform my car for the track so the weight is really important and grow fast in rpm too. Over that, the CF have a flex advantage when you apply power in the corner, it give you more traction. It's not question too handle power. The heavy steel have no place in race...

Nothing wrong with your concept of a CF propshaft to save weight. Many race teams do this. Just make sure the thing is properly designed & manufactured. If the tail piece was to break behind the hanger bearing at the centre UJoint & dig into the track - you will be in for a spectacular accident.

news about CF drive shaft, they have to made a custom link between the transmission and they have to do the same thing for the back axle total price 2500$ it will be done for the end of april. For now, I change the battery for Braille (11.5 pounds), remove the spare tire, ECU programing( evo sport), high flow cat from bassani( they have the right shape to increase flow), K&N, throttle body porting and exhaust manifold porting + ceramic coating. Other modif coming like: retrofit amg steering pedalles and maybe a supercharger with custom manifold (let see with tuning shop)

they typically require driveshaft retainers welded in to retain the DS if it ever fails for that reason.

As far as CF goes, I get the impression that some think it's a bit strange, but the applications have been going back for years. Even certain Audi quattros in the early days had CF driveshafts for the street models. Rare...

it with be able to support 550hp and 600 pound of torque they have made for many racing team. So I cross my fingers to have no problem.

My friend had a CF shaft custom made for his M3, and it made a huge difference. The lighter rotating mass made the engine much more responsive, and released a few ponies that had previously been corralled by that extra weight. Of course since he had already gone insanity level with the power and performance mods it was the only thing left to do.

The rotating inertia will make a difference. A friend of mine had a CF driveshaft made, I think it was from thedriveshaftshop for his evo, the difference in the response was there. It's like a racing pulley you really feel it.

Anyone seen the sportmap ECU C300?
