Hey guys...I have had my "Brabus" door pins for about...4 months now...running along with this problem. But recently, I have gotten really tired of it...
Problem:
Every door pin except the driver's door pin stays in place (the B faces the direction I originally had it...and it doesn't loosen or anything). The other door pins (passenger, both sides on rear) always come loose (I notice because the B faces a wrong direction and when I lock the doors they stick up a lot more than I originally had them). Does anybody know what is up with this? And if I try to tighten them all the way down...it will sink too far down below the door pin surrounds...and that in my opinion looks horrid...do you guys know what is up? Am I suppsoed to take some small scraps of paper and stick them all the way into the door pin in order to get a successful stationary door pin?
Solutions:
Anyone? Thanks.
p.s.
My driver's door's door pin can screw all the way down and never budges. Seems that only this side is the "working" one. I also made sure that all the door pins were of the same lengths.

![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I bought mine from formymercedes.com. chrome pins and surrounds. $15 for 2. I installed and the rattle is obnoxious. (door pin rattling against the surround). What did everyone do to alleviate this?
Thinkin I might super glue a small nylon sleeve in the chrome surround.

Door Pins
Hey, I hate the plastic door pins on my car. Don't really care how they look, I just hate that when my arm's resting on the door with the window down, the pin jabs into my arm. I keep the driver's pin in the console - it looks ghetto, but at least it doesn't stab me.
Anybody know of door pins out there that are flush or at least close to flush when the doors are locked?

I don't know how the fitment is on the fake Brabus ones, although I can't imagine they are horrible. I'd go authentic if I had a Brabus car though.

The formymercedes versions sit flush for sure. I've had them in my car since the beginning and no problems...knock on wood.

ebay brabus
not sure if the ebay ones are fake or not, but i ended up ordering a set for $35 shipped. 3 of them fit perfect & flush & look great. the 4th looks great, but won't screw all the way down (leaves about 1/2"). The seller is sending me a replacement.

No such thing as a Brabus surround. read through this thread and you'll see where you can get Brabus pins. Obviously, the post above you indicates one place to get them. Other places you can check are the forum sponsors.
