As posted, I got myself a C200 Kompressor Super Sport (but still at the dealer for a few more days).

Kind of embarrassing but I dont even know what the Super Sport is... can anyone enlighten me? Tried to google it but couldn't find anything definitive.
  • What are those plastic bits on the bumper in front of the headlights? Washers? (not the parking distance, I know what they are)
  • Can I upgrade the standard nokia phone connector in the armrest to a iPhone 4 or at least AUX jack?
  • What extra options did the Super Sport have over the AVANTGARDE? I can see;
    • Better wheels
    • Lowered
    • Aluminium interior (unless it just looks aluminium)
    • Front parking sensors
  • When I was driving it, there were 3 settings. C/M/S. I guess S stands for Sport, but what about C & M? M seams to slow the acceleration right down.

Your car is the sport version.

Here is a luxury version to compare. You have sport body kit, sport suspension. etc

Cheers! Be interested to know what the differences are exactly. BTW; the luxury one looks nice. I'm a luxury man but I couldnt pass the sports up.

Thanks. I noticed my leather seats look different to all the other ones I've seen on the net. They are leather with little holes in them. All the others I see are smooth leather. Whats up with that?

Yes, those odd-shaped bumps are your headlight washers.

That's perforated leather (or possibly MB-Tex). You should get a print-out from your dealer of everything the car has, that way you'll definitely know.

I've been doing a bit of reading... when I test drove my C class I heard the exhaust being a bit laud. Could it be because its a sport or may the manifold be 'broken'?

Maybe I'm naive but I was under the impression that our SS meant sport sedan not super sport
Correct?

The Luxury model looks horrendously, epic-ly boring. The one you've picked up is very attractive! Good pick!

The Sport edition does have louder exhaust, but without hearing it for myself I couldn't tell you if it is normal or not.

That is not a Luxury/Elegance - That is a Classic with no chrome, basic trim, wheel covers - basic everything & yes it is monumentally boring - good for a Beirut taxi.

The OP's car is very nicely spec'ed - enjoy

Speaking of skirts what happened to those guys that shot that upskirt video of you revealing your g-sting. Did you ever catch them?

you can upgrade the nokia phone holder ... if it's the holder that was made for a nokia 6310, you can upgrade it with a Viseoo Bluetoothe interface.
it has the same shape as the nokia you need to put in there, but it transmits a normal bluetooth signal on which several types of bluetooth phone's can be connected.

for the gear settings, but im not sure:

S = sport
C = comfort
M = manual -> in the means you need to tip the gear shifter left to right to change gears and it won't shift up unless you don't tip it to the right. it wil shift up when you get to high in rpm's ( almost at the redline)

grtz
