Just went on the dyno. Made 239whp and 229wtq on a dynojet. Only mod was high performance K&N filters .

ST will be here this year. They heard you. Not 4WD, but still a worthy contender, assuming it doesn't fall apart.

MBF - are you going to post up the dyno chart? I'd like to see it. Are you sure you're not talking HP at the flywheel? If it is at the wheels, you've got a keeper. And no, K&Ns won't account for all of the +hp there.

Yes that focus does look nice.

Yes I will post the dyno sheet. I am at class right now . I went to the dyno between classes . It is wheel horsepower and wheel torque. I think it was some good numbers. We did three pulls and it was pretty consistent.

I plan on taking all 4 cats out tommorow and than getting the ECU tune.

Those numbers seem right for a 350 with a non-parasitic 6MT

I got my exhaust done yesterday. It sounds horrible.. I think its cause of the stock resonator and the stock muffler is still on. I may remove the resonator and than add a amg muffler. .

Kept the stock layout but removed all the cats. Everything else is stock.

It sounds extremely RASPY. I think its mostly because of the resonator. I doubt it is the muffler but if anyone knows please chime in. It also sounds like a leak at were they attached the new pipes to the resonator. I will post pictures and a sound clip.

Sending the ECU off today for some tuning.

Who's doing the tune? Good luck with it - what do they do, increase fuel and adjust timing?

Eurocharged. . Yes. Has anyone only removed the cats and get this terrible rasp noise? I feel like a honda with a fartcannon .

The best setup I find for the car is a 300 cells bassani cats ( they have the best shape for gas expansion and compression) without resonator. Sound great not to noisy. Quiet when you ride and when you want to push your engine sound more like a big engine! but i have kleeman headers.

Ok I will look into that. When you took off your secondaries were they hollow? My c55 secondaries were not hollow but when I went to check on my car during the exhaust work I saw only my primaries had the metal grid. I thought every C class had secondaries.. Even my 2004 c240 had them with the metals inside.

This is the inside of the secondary-

So far and I only drove it around the block. Yes it does pull somewhat better. I will post about that tomorow. Hopefully I can get on the dyno and see the results.

Now to determine if this is really an O2 sensor issue or if it is related to the tune...

Yes. Now the passenger side o2 sensor looks like it should be repositioned and is touching something. ( I dont know the corrrect term) Does bank 2 sensor 2 mean the passenger side? If not it could be irrelevant.

I got my resonator out. I must say that the rasp is still there. So my last option is to change the muffler. I know im the one to always say get the supersprint but this time I dont have the money to spend on one. Anyone have some ideas for a cheap good quality sounding muffler?
