doesnt sound as bad as i thought it would, just a little raspy in the upper rpms it seems. ill hear it better in person on friday

i can hear the rasp at the end, but overall sounds good.

if you want a deeper sound you can probably see if anyone's selling the c32 muffler for cheap.

otherwise, i don't think you can get a quality exhaust that doesn't drone. Remus is nice and cheap at around $400-450, but they do drone. maybe a universal Borla exhaust would be nice. someone has it on the forum recently, but forgot who it is.

Its just at about 2300 rpm my vtec kicks in. Its not bad at idle but humiliating when I go cruising with friends to car shows. I will try to get a video.

Its a joke chill... I said that because my car starts making the raspy noise around 2300rpm when acclerating, hint (Sounds like a civic with a fartcannon.) Exhaust sounds fine until the rasp (kicks in).

Here is a old video of my subaru I got right after the C55. I need to get the turbo off that and install it on here..

Nice to see that your new ride is up here. My exhaust makes that raspy noise at like 2300rpm too. The only difference with mine (other than the 2.5 vs. 3.5 of course) is that I still have the primary cats and stock muffler. I think if I get a c32 muffler it should sound pretty good. I don't know whether or not I will get rid of the primary cats though...

Your 203 is coming along nicely. How do you like your tune? I wrote down your number and will text you tomorrow. It's kind of late now.

Do you have any other mods in mind?

If you have the time, money, patience and support I would skip all the header/82mmTB/manifold and go straight for a low boost turbo build.

If you do a little research on turbo forums I'm sure you can build yourself a pretty decent kit.

When I look back I don't think I'm pretty satisfied with my results and I wish I never went this route.

For my headers my steering shaft still rubs on the driver side header on mid engine load. After I did the TB/Manifold mod I did gain great power up top but I also lost power down low. My power band is ok but my tune is ****. Down low I don't have good power till about 2.8k then from then on it's a beast but my tune is off whack and my car shuts off and throws ESP error code. I heard around the forum this was a tuning issue. I use to have it before the TB/Manifold combo and it got eliminated but after I put it on I get it back. It's mostly when I am at the peak power band. I still don't know if this is a torque limiter issue or if the tune is aggressive/pinging and engine shuts off. So now I'm stuck with power at 2.8k and I have to run through the whole gear. So If I want to go at it with a car I cant hold the gear at the peak power because my pedal will die. I know Cale was getting this issue as well and so did some other members with other tuners.

But when I originally got my tune the car was running like a champ. Then I got these errors. Went for a retune and it was ok got it once in a while. Went for a retune for the tb/mani and now the same.

What I'm trying to say is make sure whichever route you go it's proven.

Check out these sexy headers. They look pretty nice. Wanted to see if OBX still has any headers for the m272 saw these. Not bad for the 32 guys. Also these OBX headers are pretty good quality. The material and welds are very nice..highly recommended. For the price you can't go wrong. I know some people dont support these types of companies because they are straight knock offs...

Tune is good. I do have one problem. He didnt delete the cats correctly. Im still waiting to dyno. I just ordered some parts and have some surprises coming soon
