Times have changed LightDragon. The W203 has been out of production for 5 years now. Back when it was new, there were no 274hp Kias. The C350 was the weakest among its peers, though.. A 335i or IS350 are significantly faster.. but that is not to say the C350 is slow. It's perspective. The C350 is one of the most desirable and exclusive W203s.

you know lightdragon, for a guy that talks a bunch of noise, we have yet to see any pics of your car since you've been on here. You say you ordered the Rieger bumper for your car and did all these things to your car but yet to see any evidence of it. You've posted a lot of questions, why dont you just start your own car thread so you can put all your questions in one area and show us your car. I'll shut my mouth when I see it and apologize, but lately all I've seen you post is negativity towards other members and their cars.

I think many of us would love to have a C350 6spd.

And if you read Cales thread on mbjunkies, you'll see that a lot of the slk350 (272.969) motor has parts that can switch over to our engines. He's in the process now of putting in m273 5.5L rods and pistons. He's been doing a lot of homework on what part from other engines are interchangeable. We've also found out that the valvetrain off of engines have the same lift as ours m272 but the valves a larger and made stronger. So once we get the numbers dialed in Cale and I are planning to see if we can push the rev limit up to 7500 or so. This is all on stock MB parts he's trying this out on. So after Jeremy retunes his car he'll be making well over 300 whp.

Thank you for chiming in.

Ah you talk to him to.. There are some other stuff we are planning. He better not be telling everyone! He should already be at almost 300whp.. I dynoed bone stock at 232whp. 1. A tune, 20whp. 2. 82mm throttle body (unknown HP number but can deff see the difference!). 3. Single stage intake manifold (also unknown number). 4. OBX headers. (I think about 5-10whp). So depending on how much the TB and intake manifold does he may already be close to 300whp...

There is already a c350 revving to 7400 rpm. Has titanium valve springs..

phister, I dont have to prove anything and the least of my concerns is if u believe me or not. Furthermore when did telling the truth become insulting ? u blame me for being aggressive while I stand as a gladiator in this forum trying to fight this bunch of guyz because of their dramatic reaction to my opinion that 3.5l 270hp is quite inadequate. my last comment was "everyone spends his money as he considers better" so why does everyone keep posting and posting trying to play smarta$$ ? gimme a break...

Just go to the left-hand bottom of any of his posts, and hit the "Report Post" icon, and state your case.

It will then be up to the mods...

It doesn't make any sense to come to the thread about a C350 and challenge it as "inadequate". Since when is 268hp inadequate? Even my 189hp is more than adequate. Is "dragon" now the code word for "troll"?

It's immature. The C350's 268hp is more than enough for a car the W203s size and the performance numbers it puts down are nothing to sneeze at. It does this while getting better fuel economy than the C230 V6 and almost as good as the M271 C230K. That's a great combination IMO.

Lightdragon - clean up this sandbox or I will grab a rake & clean it up for you.

Benz design goals happen to encompass NVH & longevity - hence conservative design. They don't build cars for little boy racers.

Scott has been kind to you!

When there's a room full of people all telling you the same thing, maybe it's time to realise that the problem really is you.
You had your chance to cut your losses, swallow your pride, and exit the conversation.
Better yet, you could have chosen to not be full of ill-placed ridicule from the start.

If you make it out of this temper tantrum w/o being banned, I suggest you stay within the confines of your "M111 MAXIMUM POWER" thread until you learn how to play nicely.

Since you couldn't hear it, I was saying "MAXIMUM POWER" in my best CA Governor Arnold impersonation possible.
Everybody Get to the M111!! It's almost at max-ee-mum pow-ar!

I reported him. Everyone should do the same. Our forum would be a lot better without people like this..

Tim, I feel bad this guy ruined your thread...can't wait to come down to the beach and check out your ride, haven't seen it since you bought it.

But really, what was this guy thinking...you can't post something like that on a BENZ forum about KIAs and expect all of us to not respond in defense? I mean where's the common sense here! Well anyway, hopefully he gets banned and we don't have to deal with it anymore.

I know you keep asking me to update my thread and I keep forgetting to (f*** this 11 hours a day work ) I will take some pics of my ride tonight as is, haven't done too much since my latest post

Just did a recent mod! New intake manifold and bigger (82mm) throttle body! Can feel the power up top!

Nice! If the flapper arms ever break on my manifold which seems to happen to some M272's, I will go that route.

What are your plans for the old manifold?

I will most likely keep it just in case I return the car to stock. This manifold is a nice upgrade!

You know I wish. Im still trying to work out the last obstacle. Its very doable. Plus it will be a front mount (not a lag fast) when it gets closer to that time I will post about it. I am super busy right now with school and moving.
