It says 0W-40 is included, that is always synthetic AFAIK. Wal-Mart has it every day for $6.27, though. I buy every quart they have sometimes.

$2X.xx a gallon at Wally mart.
Online says it's sold out and the store is always a little more expensive.

Mobil 1, $6.47 at Wally World in PA. $5.89 is slightly cheaper. However, as mentioned earlier, Wally World always has low prices. Always
Worthy a shot if NAPA has free shipping since I need a oil change soon. Oh okay, there is one near me. Time to stock up

Thought their handling of the spill and its aftereffects was completely disgusting, so I'm still holding it against them. Yes, I have a hard time letting things go.
Thanks for the suggestion, C230SC. I'll have to look into other brands' synthetics and see if they're up to the task - have a change coming up in a couple of weeks.

I use Penzoil 5-40 european formula, also on the approved list. Last I bought was $5.60 a quart direct from a distributor. When I first got my 280, WM in my area did not have the Mobil 1 and the auto parts were charging rip off prices which is why I switched. Now WM does have 0-40 but it is more than what the Penzoil costs me so I will stay with it.

I think Penzoil 5W40 euro formula is a good alternative since MB dealership here use it. But, I'll stick with Mobil 1 because it's about the same price.
