washer nozzle adjustment

I have had my C240 for a year and to me it seems like the fluid hits the windshield at the oddest spots. Ayone have a diagram that shows where the fluid should be hitting the windshield? The drive one, one nozzle hits both the center of the window and almost shoots over the windshield.

Thanks.

This should give you some idea. Unfortunately W203 is not covered.

To properly adjust the nozzle you need one of these little beauties:

Amazon Amazon

One end is pointy to assist in moving the nozzle, and the other end is squared off to clean the crusty slime out of the jetway. The caps are o ring sealed to keep the tool nice between uses.

Glyn,

Thank you very much, this helps a lot. One of my jets on the driver side is way out of whack and I will be adjusting it this weekend.

Thanks again.

Don't use a toothpick. IMO, the possibility of breaking off the end is high.
Use a thick straight pin or large needle. As I recall the noozles are slightly adjustable to re-direct to where you need the fluid.

Thanks may do that, still want to, if you still have time have you do star on my car again to see if any code have come up. I do have a check engine light on right now that goes on and off for a bad O2 sensor that I need to get replaced soon.

That's what I use. My suggestion would be that if someone can't adjust their nozzles without breaking off the end of a toothpick, they should probably make an appt at the dealer and pay $150 to have them adjust the nozzles.

I was referring to the pressure required to move the nozzle. My car was very difficult to move and would have broken even a super toothpick made of hardwood.
