Going to Singapore, do u think they have Fabulous MB kit parts?
I am leaving for Singapore for about a week and was wondering if anyone know whether they have a Fabulous body kit (original Japan) dealer there. I always wanted the little headlight splitter and had a really hard time trying to get it. I figure I'm close enough in Asia maybe Singapore has a dealer. Thanks for any info.

Sim Lim tower for the electronics enthusiasts
Lucky Plaza for the camera, watch etc. Know your product and fair market price before you go.
Travel is best via clean and new subways; but they shut down around 1 A.M. Bring lots of very light clothing
[more pants than shorts [informal]], light colonge/parfum [citrus], and worn in shoes.
For a current list of internet cafes, goto: http://www.netcafeguide.com/countries/asiaSING.htm
Lucky Plaza has a web site for you to peruse http://www.luckyplaza.com.sg
and good luck with your shopping.
Audio companies http://www.merdekaaudio.com and another shop (which I cannot
remember) in Sim Lim square have been good for purchasing a DVD player etc.
An advise is for you to speak to these people lastly and they will soon come
to the party when they know that you are genuine.
A good tip is to know what you want in electronic goods, search the
Singapore's local site e.g. http://www.sony.com.sg or
http://www.panasonic.com.sg to make sure that the model number is exactly
the same as the number of your country. Shop around for a good price for
your items. Make sure the price includes the GST and remember that they
will add 3% extra for credit card.
With regards for the product numbers, there are some traders that are a
little "shonky". They will try to convince you that the model you requested
is not the number in Singapore and may sell you another version that is
inferior. If you have a print out from the local company's site, you have
solid evidence that they can get it.
Good luck with your shopping over there.
btw; All plazas will have "personal fullfilment" businesses; usually on the 3rd floors and above if you have the need to relax during the day.

1) i am an international student currently in USC....was born in malaysia..went to SG to study for abt 10 yrs (i travel across a 0.75 miles bridge everyday to get to sch)...thats why i consider myself half a singaporean
2) things in Lucky Plaza or Far East Plaza (both in orchard road) are negoitable..but not too much..especially for cell phones.
3) GST is now 4% and not 3%
4) For personal fufillment..you can visit the famous geylang which offer excellent food at late hours too
5) Short pants are ok here...as the weather is pretty hot..around 33 degrees celcius...
6) when shopping in Sim lim tower/square....make sure to walk around the higher levels first....some merchants offer better prices there
7)transportation is excellent in singapore...whereas the subways close at 1am...cabs are plentiful and affordable (compared to USA).
Stay away from Lucky Plaza...unless you want "cheap software" in which case goto the bottom level on the weekends.
JeT your PM box is FULL!!....
Glad you had a good time. Singapore is great place to visit. I enjoyed Sentosa too. Did you go to the aquarium? Now is a fine time to remember, but Singapore has a zoo dedicated to nocturnal animals so it is open at night. They were building it when I was there.
I wish I coulda had more time to check out the nite life by the Singapore river. The Esplanade was just finished too and it was incredible. Highly recommend visit as I hear Continental airline has deals for roundtrip $700 from Houston to Japan to Singapore!
