Unhappy Ahaaa! Help!

I'm an IDIOT.

I parked my beloved C-320 coupe in my girlfriend's apartment's garage Sat night. The garage is seperate from the apartment. I left the remote in the car, and I closed the garage door I locked my car in the garage ......

Here comes the worse part: I asked the neighbor who kindly opened their garage for my to claim through it. I went through and had to land on my car. I was careful..... but not enough. I landed softly near the windshield. Everything was fine. I slowly walked toward the side and JUMPED OFF. I was so happy that I got my car back. Then when I drove my car out of the garage I found a SMALL DENT on the side of the hood.

It's about half a inch dent. On the carved part behind the front light of the hood. Paint is fine. But it's there

Help! I have read many threads in the forum related to dent, but still don't know what to do. It's small dent but it bother me a lot. I'm still paying big loan so I don't want to spend too much money on it (or I don't have too much money to spend). I read about this "DING KING" thing. Does it really work (on a half a inch dent)? Any other suggestion? Good/cheap/trusted dent specialist in Los Angeles area (San Gabriel/Rowland Heights)? How much do they usually charge?

I really appreciate every help/sharing. Thanks.

Check out a place that does paint-less dent removal. Yes, it does work great. In most cases, you'd be hard pressed to tell where the dent was. I've seen this procedure done on cars with door dings and hail damage.

park your car in the sun for about two hours to allow the dented area to warm...then use a suction cup dent removal tool (available at every auto parts section of stores from Kmart to Walmart to Autozone and back)

I have used Dent King now on 6 cars on all types of dents (mostly small) and it worked awesome! My black MBZ had a dent on the read passanger side and I used the Dent King and you cannot tell that there was any dent there. I even used the Dent King on a BBQ with a 5 inch by 5 inch dent and it looked pretty darn good when I was done.

Thanks for everyone's suggestion and opinion. I went to a friend's body shop specialize in painting. We found total of 3 dents. Two of them are small that I didn't see them the first time. The big one is about a inch in size on the CURVE PART of the front hood. He said that he need to repair the hood and paint it in order to get it to perfection. He also has to paint the side panel to blending the color. And he gave me a discounted price for $600.

I trust his expertise. But I don't want to mass the original paint. And I don't have $600 to spend . Sounds like the "Ding King" thing or the "paintless dent removal" is the way to go. Any suggestion that I can get the "paintless dent removal" in Los Angeles area (San Gabriel/Roland Heights area)? How much do they usuall run?

Thanks revstriker, Rick, moomeh, maguzma, and anyone who will give opinion. I appreciate this place.

how'd you close the garage without the remote?

paintless dent removal can be pretty expensive... they usually charge up to $100 for 1 dent... maybe they can give you a deal on the 3 you have... try giving dent wizards or dent masters a try... usually you can take your car to the dealer and they have a dent removal guy come in and fix the dent...

Wow, $100? I know my co-worker got some door dings removed from her car and paid about $35 per dent.

Ding King worked....... but

First thanks to everyone again. After having nightmares for these days, some actions have to be taken. I don't want to re-paint my hood. DentWizard won't have time available until I don't know when, and they start with $129 in Los Angeles. So "Ding King" is the only option for now.
I went to get one from PepBoy's for $20. Took an afternoon off (I can't wait) and start working on it. The first try nothing happened, but I'm not going to give up. The second try I hear a "pop" and the dent seemed to be smaller. So I kept doing it for like 15 times. On the next day I did it for another 5 times... I think I become a "DING-King" maniac .... Anyway here is the result. They are still there (because I know it). But I have to look very hard to find them.
