and the car would randomly build RPM's at idle, and idle rough... It ended up being a broken a intake manifold. Thank God for that warranty because the manifold was $900+!
I'm not huge into modding cars, especially since I love stock OEM appearances but thanks to Trey (samaritrey) I got a sweet deal on some OEM bi-xenon headlights! They make the car look newer and night driving so much nicer! Hands down best mod I'll do to this car. Next I bought the auxiliary cable and hooked it into the glove box, and plugged in my aux to bluetooth adapter for some cheap bluetooth music streaming. Next on the menu is the 2007 Sport/C55 lip spoiler. So thats about it for my car! I'll post some proper pics soon instead of my cell phones pics.
EDIT: Just looked at the contract since it was still out and it says the cash price was actually $9,998

What kind of trim do you have? Is it wood or the aluminum or what?

Performance isn't bad. It certainly blows all my past cars. Actually is performance is pretty great when coupled with a good driver. I was eating up faster vehicles at a trackday a local race track last month, such as a NISMO 350z. But all in all it's a insanely enjoyable car to drive. It has more power then the average person needs.

That's kind of a story in itself. I was on my way to work getting on the freeway (And btw it was a BEAUTIFUL morning. It was so nice I had the windows down, the sunroof open, and just enjoying the sound of the engine as I make my way to the on-ramp) and this particular on-ramp I used that morning has an S-bend as you get on. It curves towad the freeway and then away and then meets back to it. It's not a long on ramp so the bends are blind and kind of tight. Well I was on the gas enjoying the corners until I go around the last corner... and Boom! There was a CHP motorcycle sitting at the end of the ramp where it merged with the freeway. I slowed down to 60 and he just followed me for like 20 secs before he finally lit me up. In the end he said I was doing 83 mph and it was a 60 zone. Turned out to be a $430 ticket. Went ahead and paid the fine and did an online traffic school. The worst part is I wasn't intentionally speeding, just not focused on my speed. Oh well that was a bought lesson for sure.Lol so that kissed goodbye the lip spoiler for now! Anyways, I've been enjoying driving the car so much since I bought it in May that I'm now up to 136,569 mi. That's been about 6,500 miles!
Then over the weekend the CEL came on but and at least I got through it. It was code P0455 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (Gross Leak). But I reset the light with my code reader and it hasn't been back since. I've driven probably 100 miles since the reset. I couldn't find any leaks under the hood and my gas cap was on tight. It has resurfaced yet so I'm not worried.
Other than that we've finally had some beautiful fall weather that I'm gladly looking forward to!
But I'll probably be back soon as next on my list is a CLS63 AMG.
