Would you replace all 4 tires at same time or sell 2 and make $?

I've got 4 new Continental ContriproContact tires given to me by the dealer. My back tires are bald, so I'm gonna use the ContriPro's for the back. Now the front tires still have decent tread (BF goodrich sport g force), so you have two options. Keep the old front BF's on and sell the new front contripro's or put the new contripro's on the front also and sell the old BF's- knowing you'll get much less for the BF's...

Why not hold on to extra 2 tires for when you need them?
My c320 once I put on the 17 inch sport rims would go through 2 backs for every front so if the fronts are at half then sell the 2 new tires.
Heck it never rains in LA what's the worse that can happen

Sell all of the Contis and get a set with slightly wider rubber in the rear (I think that's a name of a porno I saw once).

Reasons:

You're in LA - why would you want all seasons?

Ability to get wider in the rear

Ability to get better tires - these don't have a very good rating on TR, and I'm not a huge fan of Continental

Those are my thoughts. Ignore at your own peril.

Thanks guys! Rather than sell them all or hold onto them all, I'm gonna put the new continentals on the back, leave the half-worn down BF's on the front, and sell the front continental's. That way all 4 will wear out together, and then I'll put 4 new Michilin pilot sport a/s's!

I've had both the BFG and Conti on cars -- not at the same time. They really do respond differently to steering. I'd guess with the BFG on the front and Conti on the rear you'll be sideways a lot.
But, then again, that might be your intent ;-)

Am I gonna run into problems with BF G forces on the front and the contriprocontacts on the back?

The G forces will stick better. So having them on the rear will make it less likely to slide out. It kinda depends on your driving style.
