hi... new to benz and the forums =) simple Q's
few things i wanna know..
i have no prior knowledge in car modding so bear w/ me
i am in toronto, was wondering where i would find bi-xenons so i can 'retrofit' or whatever you call it, in my car ...
what are some of the things people usually do to a C320 to make it perform better and look sharper..
thanks !!!!
what is retrofit exactly ? so i can literally take a OEM bi-xenon set of lights and pop it into my car ?
do you think i can bring my car back to MB to get it done.. i am scared when it gets to warrenty issues
as for door sills and clear foglights.. are foglights "cleared" already..
thanks for the prompt replies =)

As for clear and 'foggy' fogs I will post one of the unclear and one of the clear.
so basically as long as i can buy a set of Bi-Xenons, i can pull out the old ones and pop in my new ones ?
i don't need to go to a mechanic to tune stuff right ? kinda like pulling and popping in bulbs i suppose
thanks for the pics !!!
as for foggy and clear... we are talking about the small light on the bumper right... looks a LOT nicer in the 2nd pic !!!
you guys are great !!!! love this board..
btw. how did you get your headlight so clear ? it that the bi-xenon inside ?
sorry for annoying you guys w/ my stupid questions.. but how much am i expecting to pay for bi-xenons..
and is there a particular one i am looking for to that was made for my car ?
reason i ask is i noticed the other thread where a dealer won't activate bi-xenon for some guy

Hehe the WHOLE casing is the bixenon headlight. Its not COMPLETLY simple. You need to like pull back the bumper and attach and detach some 'stuff'. You dont NEED to activate them to work, but its useful. I am sure you can find a dealer to do it for free or for a nominal fee

what does activating do ? and also how much am i lookin at for bi-xenons..
Activiting is basically having your computer recognizing you have bixenon. So the setting is set to xenon present. Really simple. If you dont have it turned on you will need to turn on the lights first and then turn on the car-really not THAT annoying, but its better to not to do that. BiXenon for sedans run 1100. For the coupe UNFORTUNATELY I wouldnt know, you would have to email Steve
RENNtech makes some great upgrades and www.performanceproducts.com has some nice stuff too, but I agree that Steve seems to be THE man to get stuff from.
Happy modding.

I am considering a C230K. As for this bixenon thing, do
you only have to do that when you are going to be using
the lights (like night time), or every time you start the
car? Also is it a problem installing (and making work) bixenons
on a '02 coupe?
thanks.
hey..evil...i'm also in toronto, if you require any help...e-mail me, at cbamng@yahoo.com
