C200 CDI intake cleaning tutorial !?
Hello guys,
Being new to this forum I struggled finding a tutorial where it shows how to tackle the disassembly of the intake system to take out the EGR and Intake manifold in order to clean them correctly of the car.
Car in this matter is a W203 T model C200 CDI.... also the C220CDI will also be in this category. C200CDI and C220 CDI ranging from 102HP-143HP. I tend to think that the C220 CDI from the facelift with 150 HP might be in a different configuration.
Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the pdf. It really helps a lot. Now I have two questions:
1. Fn 106, 107 and 104 are those the controls to the swirl flaps?
2. What program are you using to generate the exploded view of the intake manifold.
Br. Zar!

I had my intake flaps removed from my C200CDI manifold. If you are planning to use your car for many years, you might want to consider that operation too. I can dig out many threads about that but they are in finnish language
Quite certain the pic is taken from MB's own EPC (electronic parts catalog) software used by dealers/indies. I have it too. If you need instructions how to remove the manifolds etc, then just let me know, Pluto might give it aswell. Good luck!

How do I get hold of the MB EPC? Are there more in depth instructions on how to remove the manifolds? Also if I remove the swirl flaps what do I use to plug the remaining holes? Do I need a software modif swirl flaps are removed?

EPC electronic parts catalog and WIS workshop instructions cost money to use -> http://service-parts.mercedes-benz.c...&market=Europe
Sent you some info via pm.
I had my indie install the modified intake manifold which had holes plugged and flaps removed, but the electric motor still in place, so i wont get errors. EGR function was removed with STAR diagnosis
Also some info here http://www.mercedesmedic.com/remove-...20-cdi-engine/
Also intake manifold removal is 5,5 hour job according to factory instructions.
Edit: PM's do not seem to work o_0
