Smile newbie pics of CL grill, bi-xenons, clear fogs

I'm a newbie here in this forum, and I'd like to just say hello to everyone, and share a few pics of my first mods. Thanks to Steve and Mark and everyone else here on this forum for their help and advice. The cars I've seen here are awesome. I look forward to learning and sharing more about our beloved MB's.

CL grill

kevinchung, oogle's right, it's the Mh-Dezent Expression grill. I bought it at performanceproducts.com for $599. There are several other CL grilles that can be found out there for $170-$200. But the expression grill was personally my favorite. If you'd like to know more details on the grill, please pm me. You can also run a search on the "expression grill" and you'll find plenty to read up on.

thank you everyone for the warm welcomes.

Do they sell these for the S Class? I don't think the authentic Lorinser grills cost that much, do they?

Where did you go to get that bottom piece painted to your body color? How much are we looking at?

i got the bottom 2" x 20" piece painted at a local autobody paint shop here in Mission Viejo, called Atlas Collision. Speak to Tag and he'll paint it for you for $50. I'm sure most autobody paint shops will paint it for you for $40-60. If you buy this grill from evosport.com, they charge you an additional $99 to have it painted.

sorry Daddymac, i didn't realize you were in Ontario. perhaps someone else from that area can recommend you to a closer autobody paint shop.

It looks like you have the blue/clear turn signal bulbs. Is this true?

turn signal bulbs on bi-xenons

ffejalink, the blueish turn signal bulbs came stock on the euro spec bi-xenons i purchased from steve. the blueish bulbs actually flash amber when turned on. i believe the US spec bi-xenons come with a regular amber colored bulb, but i'm not positive.

Citron230K, you're correct, the color is brilliant silver. I need to take some better pics out in the sunlight. thanks for your honest opinion, i just personally think the flat hood badge along with the mb emblem grill gives the sedan a sportier look, and the expression cl grill with the bigger mb emblem is my personal favorite.

it all goes together really well and looks great especially in silver. i wasnt tyring to say anything bad against other personal taste, i was just stating my opinion. i like the standard grill and hod mounted emblem on the sedans, its classy. though your setup with the euro bi xenons, sliver, cl grill etc, all looks really good. who am i to judge others taste, have you seen the color of my car!

:p the citron green is very unique, and i think that's one of the many reasons why most of us mod our cars, so that we can stand apart from all the stock cars on the road. everyone has their own personal taste, so it's all good.

i was wondering if you could tell me where you got your euro rub strips from and also how much they cost? i think the coupe is different from the sedan. are yours the smooth strips or the ones with the rivets? thanks.

i got them from Steve (MBenzNL). They were about $175 maybe $200, not sure its been awhile. They were pre-painted and the install was very easy. I put them on in a Pep Boyz parking lot. I put high temp tape around the bulbs so they dont shine down while the lights are on.
Mine are smooth. The ones with the rivits are for parktronic.
