Opinion on suspension upgrade

my 2001 C320 is in desperate need of a suspension change , I originally wanted just lowering springs but then I needed to do struts to so I changed to the h&r touring kit, but now I’m leaning on getting coilovers, anyone ever try out Bilstein b14 coilovers before?

Have you considered the sport suspension found on later models? It works quite well especially when paired with amg sway bars.

it is an idea but im looking for also lowering because i have a crazy front wheel gap, and i dont belive just the sport suspension will lower it enough when compared to the things i mentioned

On my 02, sport suspension dropped the front 1.5".

i switch out my wheels every winter to smaller 16" with winter tires, i feel like it may be too low if i put the sport on, atleast with the coils i can lower and raise it

Yeah that's definitely an advantage of coil overs. Just make sure it's very well rust proofed.

Good luck on the suspension project Escott16!

I have a 2006 C350 Luxury and would like to upgrade the suspension to that of sports model. What would be needed to accomplish this besides the AMG sway bars?

Sport struts and springs and M12 sway bar end links.

If it helps I have B14's on my Focus ST, smooth roads they are assume, Car handles like it 's on rails.

But on the roads in the Bronx, it can be a bit jarring.

You should change out all parts if they are different. Not sure about a W203 but for W204 the front sway bar is different between the luxury and the sport suspensions. The sway bar links are the same so no need to replace that obviously unless they are worn.
