Hey Guys,
I am extremly lazy and dont want to spend time installing those door stills. Where is a good place to get this done in Austin, or in general where can I get this done.

i had mine done at the time of delivery. i was charged $500 for the illuminated door sills and the installation of the euro mirrors. not sure what the cost would be without the mirrors but after realizing how easy they are i cant see more than an hour of labor charge. it should be like a 20 min job at most but not sure if they do less than an hour of labor rate.

Illuminated door sills
Mr CitronC230K_03:
I could not send you a PM as your PM box is full...lol, so I might as well post it here.
Do you have front and rear doorsills? or just fronts?. I had the M Benz door sills installed in my car right when I bought it, however, I was told by the dealer they only had the "front" sills. If you know how to get the original rear door seals (part number), or a contact that I could get the information and/or the part, I would appreciate it!
(The interesting part, is that I found on this forum a nice shop that would make custom door sills for the rear of my vehicle. In a couple of months I am going to visit my family in Austria, then I was planning to pick up the original rear door sills... but if I can do that here, then I save myself the waiting!... )

i have a coupe so all i have is the front sills installed.
i have the C7 package so its the different doorsills that are part of the C7 package. the illuminated sills just sit over the original sills if i remember right. im sorry i dont have the part #'s for the original sill nor do i have them for illuminated sills but im sure you can find them thru the search.

those brabus doorsills look pretty sweet. i like the fact that the brabus is more noticable in light. you can only really see the Mercedes-Benz in dim lighting. im thinking about getting the illuminated shift knob.

anyone do an install on these?
I'm debating on these. Has anyone tried an install? I'm wondering.. where do you get the power? Would I need to run my own wiring up to the fuse box? or is there something else? I guess what I'm asking is, do these have some kind of plug in connector or just open ended pos and ground wires?
