Question stock to 18" rims, do I need suspension mods?

I will be replacing my stock rims with 18x8's and 18x9's. Will I need to modify my suspension?
Thanks....

The question is not whether you NEED or not. You dont need to if you dont want. The question is whether you can stand the look after the wheel upgrade.

Mercedes
Well, it will look like an SUV because of the height. Most people here will suggest you to lower it. But it is personal choice though IMO. If you like with the stock height then go for it. You dont need to modify the suspension. Just make sure you get the right offset for C-class on your new wheels.

Good Luck

The wheel gap you kinda see now will only be accentuated after you upgrade your wheels, it will look like a 4X4. You can expect to see a lot of

"I didn't know Mercedes made an off road C class"

-- I know that from experience as I have been there.. its a sad lonely place to be. :p

you don't have to. I am still running stock suspension and no one has said a thing to me. Of course, my eibach kit is sitting in the garage gathering dust because I don't have the time to get it installed.
