Peeling Out

why can't i smoke my tires??? from a stop doesn't work, even with esp/abs system off (dyno mode). also, pressing the brake slightly and the gas doesn't do anything either. is the 2.6 L engine that freaking weak?

you have to turn ESP off entirely, not just pressing the off switch on the center console. STFF and you will find the answer you seek!

Why??? What is the need? Brake torque is never a good idea. Quit while you are ahead.

Oh cummon guys let the guy have his fun!

Answer to your question..

Yes the 2.6 is pretty weak and will you will have a hard time breaking those tires loose. Try pressing the breaks all the way and floor it.. if that doesn't work on the dry then try it in the wet!

yeah, if your tires are wet, you will most likely be able to break them loose, weak 2.6 liter or not.

Not again. I thought you already knew how to loose traction in the wet. And that was even without being in dyno mode. :p

the reason you cannot peel out is because like me, we both drive the low power c240. Our cars dont have enough power peel out. If it was a 320 then its possible because i;ve seen people in the city with 320's doin it when they hold the brakes. the little amount of power our cars produce dont even produce it until like 4000 rpms anyway, unless you got a 6sp it aint happening sorry to nurst your bubble bro
