door sill question
I talked with the dealership last night and they told me to put in the door sills that it would cost close to 1500.00 
. I oreded them with the car, which I pick up tonight, but they never really gave me a price. Dose this sound right to everyone for a price. He said that it takes a lot of time to install and do the labor. What do you guys think?!!!!

Way to freakin much dude......1500.00 dollars?? I think the option was for like 400.00 or something...u can get them after market for 150.00 and then install them yourself. They are really nice...I got them......For 1500 dollars u can use that to get some nice other mods for your car!

Too much $$ even if you do it the Mercedes way which involves gutting the interior of the car. Last time, they told me it would take about 6 hrs, which is still way below 1500 USD

Pick them up, nicely say "Thank you", then peel out of the dealership before they have the chance to ask you about installation.
A good local shop would be much better. I think that the place that installed my Brabus ones took 3-4 hours, as I do believe that it is a time-consuming job, but for $1500, you should get a nice dinner before they rape you.

that is a freaking rip off. have you called around. for that price they better shoot a big light into the clouds like the bat signal that say "Mercedes-Benz" then shoot fireworks.

ok guys, I just finished that mod too! There are 4 tubes above each door and they shoot fireworks when you open each door. Works great. Have to use DAS to set FIREWORK TUBE = PRESENT
