looks great. I got mine from Harris too and they look awsome. The dealership put them in in 4 hours the whole thing cost me around 550.00 to do. Well worth it becase at night they look great. I like how you put the mercedes benz and then the amg. Wish I put mecedes benz and then c320 sport. That would have looked good too. Maybe when I get get a new Benz, I will do something to that effect. Like e500 sport. That sounds nice

Congrats Saprissa!
Harris: Can they be custom ordered to say, for example on the passenger side, "I'm getting Sum Tonight" for dates and girlfriends?
OR
"Gas, *** or Grass" and in the back
"Nobody Rides for Free" ??
I would really be interested in that case

That would be sweet!! I saw another Citron coupe here in my area and I thought of you. You better stock up on paint code 874 so you can paint anything in the future....j/k Originally Posted by CitronC230K_03

Harris can customize these OEM MB sills to say just about anything you really want...
he will send you a draft sample of what you want on the sills first (see attachment).
As far as colors, I chose blue for personal preference. But I do think other colors are available. Check with Harris. A green sill light on Citron's car would look hot !
Thanks to everyone for the compliments !
Looks like HARRIS will be getting quite a few more orders.

Hi,
I have had my w203 for a few weeks now and have been looking at a couple of upgrades.
I was wondering how much the illuminated doors sills are and how much it would cost to get them installed.
Thanks in advance
Gavin

Gavin,
Do a search, this has been covered in the past. Also, I got a price quote from HARRIS who is a sponsor here and his sills are highly recommended. I just have never got around to getting any. Send him an e-mail, I am sure he can help.

Hi everyone,
Within the next month or so, I'm looking to get my first Mercedes, an 05 C230. One of the first mods I'd like to make would be to add the illuminated door sills. I had some questions though....
Searching thru some old posts, it seems like the best ones are from Harris at hartonmotorwerks.com, as they are a direct replacement and basically an OEM sill with the modified EL "Mercedes-Benz" (or anything else you'd like to say) wording.
However, I have been unsuccessful in getting to Harris' website, as it's down, or has been permanently closed.
So, I was also looking at the sill from Jerry at formymercedes.com. They look very nice, but it seems like they stick on top of the existing sills. Can anyone confirm this?
My best option would be to go with Harris' sills despite (I'm assuming) being more expensive than Jerry's. I'd like to know if there's a way to contact Harris and/or his website.
Thanks
Paul

Harris, aka hartonmotorweerks, is no longer in business. There are several threads where members discuss this, as well as one that was started by Harris.

I have the OEM illuminated door sills, they are pretty tight. Expensive install, but it's a nice touch. I do recommend this: Do not stick the metal piece on top of the black plastic grooved step (there is the illuminated portion and another piece that rests on the doorstep). It gets scratched up by people and will look like crap. I removed the metal from them and it looks and will wear much better.

I purchase mine from Steve (MBenzNL) and have been pleased with the prodcuts. I only have the front illuminated sills, opposed to Jerry's front/rear.

I tried a search but couldn't find info for the W203. Anyone got info and or pics?
