they actually charged you to just set XENON=Present ? 
of course, I had Steve (MBenzNL) do it with his DAS when he installed my Bi-X on both my C's. But there are dealerships that will just plug in and do it in 45 seconds, and not charge you anything. Just gotta know the right SA or MB Tech !
Yikes ! I wouldn't pay for it. Find a dealer that will do it for Free !

what i did is i took it to the dealer, and told him that i have a set of OEM bi-xenons that i bought from them, and i am going to do the install and need "xenon=present" for them to work. Worked like a charm but they charged me 75 ive heard other dealers do it for a lot cheaper.I have been looking at mine and they're a little bit scratched up 
i was thinking of putting that 3M invisible bra on them. i know its meant for the body of the car, but i think it would be good to use to protect the lights. its also really cheap.. like $10?
do you know if anyone has done this before?

i will just as soon as i get it washed, its funny i washed it monday but the pollen is ridiculous down here. Hopefully friday, honestly i don't really have any great mods or anything so it looks fairly boring.

I almost bought that...but it was a "special order" color
and added $1500 on top of the charge for metallic paint which is like $800 I think, so we're talkin' 2300 xtra...
The next year, it became a normal metallic color.
I was in Newport visiting a buddy. Fletcher Jones had very few Coupes in
Leather. Mad Cow? Hmmm...strangely the mad cow thing only effected the coupes...Mooooo!
One of the few cars with leather they had was that Capri Blue,
Sunroof and Auto...but no C7.
I was already in the cube with the salesguy, called my buddy to come over.
He asked if it was exactly the car I wanted....well no, it didn't have the C7,
and 1500 extra for paint was ridiculous since the Orion blue was a very pretty color..he drug me out of there...
Turned out the only Orion Blue coupe with C7, leather sunroof, and auto was sitting in the docks in Long Beach. I ended up buying in Carlsbad,
picked up 2 weeks later for about 2 grand less than FJ was trying to extort from me.
So whats that got to do with anything? Sorry...
Hey we got the same wheels and AMG brakes...

The new grill was $137. I never shopped around, so I have no idea if that was a good price or not.
I'd like it if the Bix came in by Friday, but even if they ship today, it is doubtful.
No biggie. I'll have them on.
Now, once installed, does anyone know if they will actually put out ANY light, or must I have the Xenon on set up?

for those of you interested in updated mirror blinkers... he doesn't have as great of a deal on those ($29 each)... so i passed. he has them in stock if anyone is interested. im going to shop around for a better deal before i pay $58 for a set.
